I've used this pressure cooker for over 15 years and its wonderful! Makes all the other ones feel cheap and difficult to use. I know a lot of people say it sucks because it lets off too much steam but theres a trick to it... you have to press the lid down for a few seconds if it leaks, so the pressure cap closes and locks in place. Then it will take 5-12 minutes to cook whatever you want. And this pressure cooker is different in that it doesnt build up steam and then blow steam really loud like… Read Full Review

Useless from the day I bought it. It leaks steam everywhere and by the time it reaches the required pressure, the food is invariably already burnt. It simply won't seal and never has. I have a friend who has exactly the same model and hers doesn't work properly either. Do not buy this product - it is not a pressure cooker… Read Full Review

so gutted i bought this. very very expensive and the only good bit is that it comes also with a normal(ish) lid in addition so you can in fact treat it like a stock pot and use it that way. the pressure cooker leeks steam no end so it takes a good 25mins to steam swede! i could boil it in that time. its always leeked steam, i thought thats just how they work. its my first pressure cooker and other people who have the more old fashioned styled ones have since informed me its not meant to… Read Full Review

Right from the beginning a pain in the neck. Takes too long to come to pressure or does not come to pressure so , open close retry , open close retry , burn food , give up. When it does come to steam (sometimes or come times if you will) always leaks and makes a mess plus a strange whistling sound (tap it on the head with a wooden spoon and it sometimes goes away). Unfortunately it has put me off Tefal products as well would never buy anything again from Tefal brand. Waiting for it to get old… Read Full Review

I've had mine for over 7 years and I use it every week at least once. My gasket has only just gone. I've found this really easy to use, no problems at all. Sometimes if it doesn't come to pressure so I just unlock and lock the lid again and it works. Would definitely buy again… Read Full Review

This Tefal Clipso has performed well. However trying to buy a replacement gasket is like digging for gold : the service from Tefal and their spare parts agent is non existent. The spare gasket is available to order from amazon.com but they will not send them to UK.Without the gasket, the cooker is useless. Before purchasing the customer should be told of the difficulties in Tefals after care service.I will not buy Tefal again… Read Full Review

With getting older I opted for this model because of the two handles.
The cost of replacement gaskets is one thing but was able to get them directly from Tefal. Their Website doesn't supply them AND having Googled, have been UNABLE to trace any replacement for this cooker… Read Full Review

I've been using pressure cookers for about 40 years. This Tefal Clipso Vitamins 6l Pressure Cooker works fine. I like the way it opens and closes. I think pressure cookers in general are intimidating to cooks not experienced with them. if you can get one for a good price go ahead and get it! i only paid $7 for mine because someone else was scared to death of the contraption… Read Full Review

Very disappointed with my Tefal Clipso Pressure cooker.
It replaced a Prestige model which was so, so easy to use. I had it a lifetime until the base warped. The Prestige PC also came a with an explicit instruction manual incl recipes.
My problem with the Clipso is the lack of instructions.
Yes, I have downloaded the manual but advice whilst lengthy is still not clear re use… Read Full Review

One must make sure the relief valve is working okay and not blocked. When using for the first time the valve should be given a bit of a jiggle just to make sure there's no bits, left over from its manufacture, blocking the valve. It should hiss a fair bit shortly after the red locking device lifts up to prevent opening while it's still under pressure. It's really important to check it continuously when starting out. Subsequently, it's child's play… Read Full Review

My Tefal Clipso has always leaked pressure, even from being brand new, resulting in water all over the cooker and because the water leaks you end up burning the food inside, even when on a lower heat? This was a replacement for a prestige model that I'd had for years, which worked brilliantly.
I wish I'd never given it away!
I will never buy another tefal product again… Read Full Review

The Tefal Clipso Vitamins 6l Pressure Cooker is definitely not worth the money: this stuff is pretty expensive for a pan, you just expect it to work forever. I had a manual pressure cooker before, that I kept for 15 years without any problem and maintenance.
Having said that, I am waiting for a response from Tefal. Maybe they will do a recall and fix the problem. If they do, I will come back and update this review… Read Full Review

The Tefal Clipso Vitamins 6l Pressure Cooker is a wonderful addition to our kitchen. Super easy to close and perfect regulation of pressure. Tefal Clipso Vitamins 6l Pressure Cooker - This pressure cooker is great while it works - service is not good, any problem is always the customer's fault
My presssure cooker had a melt down in just 45mins max with half full of water and peanuts. Resulting burn rubber seal and smoke up the whole house. Cover sealed shut. Service centre says it my fault - say I did not put water in it - too bad , I have to buy a new one… Read Full Review
