    The apartments and pool area were extremely clean and well looked after. The staff who work in the pool bar are very friendly and always willing to help and advise. Receptionist, although pleasant seemed to work as and when she felt like it. When we arrived at 9.30pm we were met with a key and a piece of paper on reception advising us of which room we were in! Lovely clean and friendly hotel. Good location but watch out for the many quad bikes and motor cycles which many people seem to use as racing bikes. An accident waiting to happen!!

    All in all Socrates II Apartments are a great family run hotel. I should know, I have been there twice and thats something I do not normally do. It's idealy situated with beautiful views of the mountains behind the hotel the Socrates offers everything we wanted in a holiday. The rooms are spotless and the staff were very nice people indeed. Eating out you are spoilt for choice. 'Made in Greece' taverna was very nice, and the sports-bar just up the road was great (I hope they have still got our p ...
