Good Points: Absolutely worth the money, cheap and friendly a great addition to any family and room. Easy to look after with a water change, a scrum on the tank and some food.
Bad Points: The food it quite expensive, although that depends on the make. I've fed all my goldfish on one make and my current fish is about 4 or 5. The oldest of more than 21.
General comments: I simply adore my fish and would recommend them to anyone looking for a great, cheap and great looking pet.

Surprisingly, the price for a goldfish changes greatly. They can be less than a Dollar for feeders, and up to about $50 for big fancy ones. If you want to spend over $2 on a single goldfish, I advise you to buy some other actual fish. Goldfish are great fish for first-timers, but they do have a low life expectancy.

Goldfish are great and trustworthy. They are cheap pets to keep and they are very relaxing to watch.
