    Good Points: The site had helpers working as part of a living, They monitored the site and made sure everything was safe and well managed.


    Bad Points: After being on this site for 8 years, I found it had a lot more bad points and reviews than it is used to.


    General comments: I was a member of this site from 1999- then rejoined in 2001 sometime, It was a Fairly good site to start with, They had chatrooms, page moderator, chat hostess and a lot of other badges that you could aim for. It was always a really good place to make friends.Then when it hit the year 2006/2007/2008 the place fell apart in my opinion, Over a lot of the oldest members had left abandoning the place, Then half the helpers left, The place just went downhill from there.Then the helpers totally abandoned the place as far as I am aware, and now it Offcially closed, a few people knew it was closing, things do happen.

    It's really fun to talk to other girls from all over Great Britain. It has been broken for over a week and no-one has been contacted about it in it any way and the helpers had left us for a month before it broke.. well recommend Girland.com.

    Girland has recently had many new updates which have made the site much better than before. I've always loved being a member of girland but never as much as now.

    It is an excellent site for teenage girls and has much to offer:

    Bulletin Boards (including a personal BB for each member)
    Problem Pages
    Interactive Novels
    Music Compositions (with free software to download)
    GirLand City (virtual world - with many areas to chat in)
    Team Games (Pass The Tag, Treasure Hunt)

    Having been a member at Girland for several years I have seen a lot of changes in that time. However, GirLand is now at its best. The staff are going mad with updates and have fixed everything on the site that had bugs in the past. There is so much to do! Some of the new things are:
    Pass the Tag game
    Treasure Hunt
    Personal BB's
    HTML editior - so you can have funky layouts/profiles/webpages without knowing any html! - which is great because I dont!
    GirLand City (virtual world) has been updated ...

    Girland is a fun site for teens. The only problem is that it's a chat room. Many parents are uncomfortable with that. Many people, great stores, and easy ways of trading.

    Girland is a site that welcomes girls (and boys) of all ages to meet up and have some fun, and in a friendly environment. The site has an impressive array of activities, that range from problem pages where members can ask and give advice, to poetry pages, where members can create and get voted on original poetry creations.

    I love the Girland website and I think you will too! Girland is a community where you can talk to other teens all over the world. There are bulletin boards, embarrassing moments, touching moments, catwalk diva's, and you can create your own virtual partner!

    There are also badges you can aim for, which you gain by earning points.
