Good Points: Great looking phone, no problems with reception unlike previous Nokia phones I have owned. Very easy to navigate and has lots of great features.

Bad Points: Ongoing problems with camera usage, particularly from mini screen.

General comments: Would definitely recommend the Nokia 6131. Good value for money, easy to use, looks great.

Within weeks of me getting my Nokia 6131 the hinge fell apart and had to send to O2 for a replacement. (Had not dropped it / ridden over it etc.) Battery life is poor have to charge it up every 2 days or less depending on how many calls you receive / make on it. Memory is the worse I have ever seen. I have had to delete the games and profiles etc and also standard ring tones along with text messages so that I have space to store photos and even then I can only take 15 - 20 pictures. I kno ...

Took delivery end of January. Its now May and I've had four phones. Each one had software failure in some form. Loud cracks in the ear, cutting you off then a blank screen until it booted up. Some would lose the time and date when switched off. Shame because the Nokia 6131 is an attractive phone.

A great phone, does everything you need it to, has a radio as well as mp3 player. I didn't think this phone would stand up to so much usage, and opening and closing of the flip, but it's still going strong. I've had the phone since June 2006.

A step in the right direction for Nokia.......but , signal strength is poor for a Nokia phone , battery life is 3 days (not too good) , the filing system and storage is complicated and not very user friendly. It is however a superbly finished handset and proper sized keypad that you don't have to operate with a pen. I think I will stick with Samsung in future.....unless Nokia address these faults

Nokia have stepped up the mark with their flip phone designs recently and this Nokia 6131 is no exception. It is a stylish looking phone with some excellent features and being a Nokia it is of course easy to work your way round. The camera quality is very good as is the large internal screen. Like I said the only bad points really are the battery life, which I have to say is pretty bad, unless you leave the phone and don't use it for anything it will drain very quickly, I'm having to charge m ...

The Nokia 6131's active flip is a novelty that takes ages to get old. It is well laid out and easily customisable, a real joy to own, but the cutting corners approach in longevity seems to be the first disappointment I have ever found with a Nokia handset. I genuinely rate everything of theirs I have ever owned. Were it not for the poor battery life and frequent crashes it'd be right up there for me.

I think my new Nokia 6131 mobile phone is great! It's another fantastic phone from a company that consistently makes high quality durable mobiles. I would never buy from anyone other than Nokia after having a Motorola and a Samsung in the past, because they never lived up to the quality of any Nokia I've owned. This phone is great, and I'm especially pleased that Nokia are finally doing good looking clamshell designs. It looks great for a mid-range phone, except the buttons are a really cheap ...
