I stayed in the Ramada Jarvis hotel on Brighton's seafront recently. I booked a couple of weeks in advance on the internet and got the room for £119, room only. When we arrived at the hotel we were pleased with it's location. The decor was a little tired but we were only staying for one night, so didn't really mind. Luckily we didn't drive to the hotel, however the people checking in ahead of us had and were being charged £15 to park their car for the night in the hotel car park. Originally... (read more)

“good on the outside but rough on the inside. ...”

good on the outside but rough on the inside. Restaurant is drab, food quality is poor, service is very poor. Rooms are reasonable size but in need of refurbishment. Bathroom was failling apart with tiles missing, broken and grubby. (read more)

Great hotel for exploring Glasgow. Basic but clean with efficient staff and overall excellent value for money. Excellent breakfast with wide variety hot/cold food. Room on the small side but fine for short stay. (read more)
