i bought this phone 3 years after it came out. my first thought were that it is a good phone. its great for a basic phone which is just what i wanted. the only downside i have for it, and i dont know if anyone else has experienced it. but when i am using the phone like texting or making phone calls the battery runs right down. but after if you leave it for a while the battery goes back up. i must say the way it is now, i am very disappointed in the phone. and at the moment think it was a waste of £50. i hope it gets better and sorts itself out.

I've only just bought an LG Chocolate a few weeks ago, since it was incredibly cheap. Its lasted so far without any problems except that the screen's gone completely white and frozen a few times. The slide is starting to go off centre already. But its a really nice, good-looking phone and I like the touch screen. However I absolutely hate texting on it, the keys are so awkward and you cannot move on to write the next letter on it, very annoying. It's probably worth the £25 I spent on it.- Read Guest's review (92 words)

My LG Chocolate has worked for about a day.
It breaks every three days I have to get a new one, they give me one, I end up having about 10 then by the time I think I get a new phone according to the original plan I actually have to wait a few months because of all the times I had to get a new one.
Nicest looking piece of junk i ever owned- Read Guest's review (74 words)

Both myself and my daughter received the LG Chocolate phone last Christmas, so, it's not done bad, my reception has not been good indoors, my daughters phone has started to crash and she has trouble with her screen pics, they look like negatives.- Read Guest's review (52 words)

I think that the LG Chocolate phone is incredibly beautiful and smooth to touch, and has quite a good camera. It is ok for a while, but then everything about it goes wrong! I have had the phone nearly a year now and after 3 months of having it the sound went, and I could never hear people on the phone. After about 7 months the bluetooth totally mucked up everyone who tried to send anything to me it would straight away cancel it.- Read Guest's review (82 words)

It worked fine for a while but after a few months the battery is completely rubbish - I can fully charge it and then it will cut out in the middle of a 5 minute phone call!
Sometimes when I slide it up the touch screen doesn't respond so i can't use it.
The screen recently inverted all the colours so the picture I had as a background looked like a negative picture and it was the same throughout the whole menu.
My background picture now appears tiny twice at the top of the screen and the rest of ...- Read Guest's review (176 words)

Very tasteful design. The default wallpapers are lovely, too. A beautiful, artistic phone, but it is not very practical. The texting is very complex, unlike some phones it does not change case automatically. At first it is hard to get used to the sensitivity of the buttons (they are "touch screen"), but you soon adjust to it. I do well recommend the LG Chocolate.- Read Guest's review (64 words)

I've had this phone for more than a year, and I'm only beginning to become annoyed with it. Guys, if you want a phone that's easy to use and you don't care about camera quality and such, this is the phone for you. Seriously, though, to other people who want a stylish phone worth bragging about, I guarantee you, this is SO NOT the phone. Not recommended.- Read Guest's review (160 words)

This phone is Ok as a temporary phone. I have had it now for 4 months and every day for the past month it has crashed at least 3 times a day, which is very irritating and frustrating. I am now looking for a new phone already. Not great value for money in any way.- Read Guest's review (79 words)

I have been through 4 (yes i said 4!) chocolates and today im hopefully going to get a new phone. The chocolate dissapoints me. My first one lost signal, my second one never got a signal, my third one vibrated for 2 minutes at a time for no reason and the touch screen stopped working, and now my fourth one's back light wont cut off.- Read boogahman's review (75 words)

Nice phone if you only wish to use it indoors! Very quickly gets covered in fingermarks that are difficult to get off. My biggest criticism - you can't see the screen detail if you are in (even partial) sunlight - the glare off the black finish makes the detail invisible!- Read Guest's review (54 words)

I have the LG Chocolate phone for over a year now and usually i don't keep a phone for that long normally. I have this colour in bright pink and really love the colour as it stands out a lot and is a very girly colour (:. After a year and a half of having this phone I have only had to send it back once to have the screen fixed and although there has been a lot of people tell me how rubbish the phone is i wouldn't say I have had many problems with it.
