“Amazing day at Zoomarine”

Hi! I've been at Zoomarine last year in august and I love it! They have lot's of shows (dolphins, birds, sea elephants, etc) and lot's of things to do and see (giant wheel, pirate boat, swimming pools, etc). Loads of fun!!! I've bougth my tickets online at Portugal4fun.com with discount. So if you're going to Algarve don't miss this park! If you have a chance take some food in your bag, you will save some money. “upsettingly cruel”

I visited with my 21 year old son and his girlfriend. We were all upset by the state of some of the animals and left less than an hour after going in. One sea lion had open sores on its body which it was constantly trying to scratch. Another was biting its hand and clearly in distress Loud music was pumping out near all the exhibits and almost every creature looked miserable. Thoroughly depressing all round. A (read more)

Brilliant day out, kids and adults loved it. Plane your day around the shows and make sure you see them all, you can do them all in half a day and have the PM to do what you want, rides pool etc. All staff very friendly. Went back for a 2nd visit later on in the holiday. (read more)

Kids really enjoyed the day out there. Raved about the 4D show experience! Nice swim/shower facilities too. Not too big - so kids were not too tired even if they saw everything! 4d show and dolphins were the best! Don't park your car in the overflow carpark !! The overflow car-park is quite a walk from the main entrance and lacking in security. Bird show (parrots) was exactly the same as something we saw in our hotel one night ! So was a bit boring for that reason. We had ALL of our LUGGAGE... (read more)

Portugal Zoomarine is an excellent day out, and one that we plan to repeat.

One big tip I would give is that if you plan to swim with the dolphins, book a future appointment to do this on your next visit. This provided us with free entry tickets for the day of the swim for our whole party. This gave us a second day at the park free of charge. (read more)

THE BEST VALUE DAY OUT EVER!! Zoomarine caters mainly for sea life, but does have Birds of Prey and a few other mammals there. Dolphins are the main attraction, with spectacular shows performed throughout the day, and for a fee you can spend 90 minutes swimming with the dolphins too. Sealions, seals, penguins, loads and loads to see and do!! There is a funfair there, which is free of charge once you have paid your entry fee, which includes roller-coasters for the kids.
