  Good Points: Free, easy to use.

  Bad Points: Satellite pictures are about 5 years out of date for my area, I don't know about anywhere else.

  General comments: Very handy for checking to see if addresses actually exist and for getting directions for one place to another.

  Google Maps is a useful alternative to Multimap, with Google search facilities. It is quick with easy scrolling. It also has maps of Europe and aerial/satellite views can be overlaid.
