Have had NS sights in the past. Always been impressed by them. Had a 4x40 silver crown on my HW77, a 3x9 x 40 on my BSA GoldStar. Recently bought a Weihrauch HW35K with a Hawke 4x32 scope. Thought I would upgrade the scope. So when a big firm sent me a £10 off voucher code, & had the NS MM on offer, thought 'I'll have some of that' The scope arrived very well packed, a couple of days late, considering I'd paid for next day delivery. FROM LAVERDABRU1116 Further to the above, after circa 2-300 shots, the internals of the scope fell apart. The replacement was speedily delivered (thanks, Uttings!), & is still in one piece internally - so far. The distracting outer ring is still visible.. Whether I will buy another NS after this experience is another matter.

Second mountmaster which has died. They are not upto hunting with springers. Guess you get what you pay for in life ? I have found Hawke scopes a better bet for most of my hunting air rifles but i'm sure many will disagree ?… Read Full Review

The important thing first: It cost me just under $90
I found the Nikko Stirling 3-9 x40 Mountmaster scope to produce a sharp clear image and was accurate. I mounted mine on a Gamo CFX (Royal), although I did change the mounts to an in-line mount.
