    The weather was sunny. Good sized room. Hotel Staff were friendly and not always asking for baksheesh. Comfy bed (i.e. firm). Aircon - more effective than the fridge - honest - it was! Beware of the water prices - at the hotel it is £18 (£1.80 stg) for 1.5 litres! You can buy it across the road for £3 (30p) - that is a major saving if you need to rehydrate properly over several days. The food - The main restaurant was more staff canteen than gourmet experience. Mini-bar fridge - the aircon was more effective! Water pressure in the shower was hopeless unless you had it on scald mode. Prices - everything is expensive if you stay on site. TV remote control fell to pieces every time I picked it up
    On a more positive note, this Hilton is better than the Long Beach Hotel, as it has some life outside, rather than a building site. However, it may be best to avoid both unless a beach holiday is a must.

    We spend a Christmas vacation in Hurghada and we stayed for 2 weeks at the Hilton Resort Hotel. The artificial small gulf and beach that they build for the hotel is beautiful and the temperature of the see water is good end of December.

    They organized a great New Year's Party in a Bedouin tent that they built.

    Spent a very enjoyable week at this Hilton Resort Hotel in Egypt last year after a week cruising the Nile.
    Everyone, from the reception staff to the gardeners make you feel very welcome, even though we were only bed and breakfast guests, there were lots of all inclusive guests at hotel too. There were many Russian guests but they were fine.
    I would recommend this hotel to anyone, in fact we are going back again this year.
