    Good Points: Can't think of any at the moment.


    Bad Points: I thought there was a total lack of organisation. Found there to be a very limited choice of food, lots of empty dishes in the 'canteen' and when we asked for more, they said there wasn't any. But when we complained, they brought out a full tray. Difficult to get a drink, because when the lobby bar closes, everyone is forced to drink in the snack bar. The waiters only came to us if we kept tipping, and if we queued at the bar, they seemed to go straight to the young girls first, men seemed to be last in the queue.

    I have only just returned from my holiday in Cuba. The hotel Occidental is definitely not a four star hotel I can say that for sure, after reading good reviews and seeing beautiful pictures of the hotel I was greatly disappointed. I have only been back off my holiday one day and have found it necessary to write this review to warn people of this hotel. Most of the staff were unfriendly and it was even hard to get a drink of water but can not be said for all. There was not really any management a ...

    Fantastic beach, lovely staff. Food variety great, not bland as people expect. Pools are really good, one with swim up bar. Clean and well made up rooms, also very big rooms. Fantastic air con.
    Would visit Cuba again, but I wouldn't stay here again. When looking to book, try to book somewhere away from forest's by looking at Google Earth.
