    My husband and myself stayed for 22 days this year in Sol y Mar at Guadalavaca.

    We had a wonderful holiday and the best part was the wonderful staff. Our cleaning lady was meticulous in keeping our room clean, and the friendly welcome from the gardeners and other hotel staff was outstanding. They were most helpful and friendly, the entertainment and musicians were wonderful. The only rather off-putting point was in the restaurant when certain groups of individuals pushed to the front to get food and took huge platefuls that they could not possible have eaten. One lady took a huge spoon and scooped the entire top from a large gateau leaving only the bottom pastry. I hope to go again to meet the staff, especially the lady pianists and the staff on reception and our assistant manager.

    In my experience the staff at sol rio luna mares are one of the best. you can not beat the pool service bar service restraurant service.
    luna mares has the most beautiful beaches, close to pool and hotel no need for a train to get around, staff are wonderful, food and service were terrific . Many people who come here come back again and again the staff hae been here a while, the food was good I was there in March with my family of seven. We had no complaints other than having to leave.

    Nice beach. Sol Rio De Luna & Mares Resort is not a 4 star maybe a 3, overpriced. In my experience service staff can't be bothered until they are ready.

    Having been to various hotels on holidays to Cuba I have found the above comments on bad points quite common on a.i. But the above bar persons are in a class of their own, which is a pity as the hotel Sol Rio De Luna & Mares Resort ranks as on of my favorites
