    Good Points: Hotel grounds kept very clean. Beach well looked after. Lady who cleaned our room always did a good job.


    Bad Points: Loads of unruly children. Room in need of refurbishment. Food quality not as would be expected in 5 star hotel.


    General comments: We chose this holiday from the Thomson a la carte brochure as we expected it to be just that. We had a ten day holiday and we were only grateful we had not stayed for any longer. We are a couple who thought we would have a relaxing holiday but the only way we managed that was when we left the hotel.
    We complained about the behaviour to the hotel management but we think it fell on deaf ears. We also reported our problem to the Thomson rep. Our holiday was in late August early September of this year.

    The staff said it had not yet been refurbished. We had expected a Five Star hotel as we had previously stayed at the Corfu Grecotel Imperial Palace which is a superb hotel - to find this hotel was more like 3 or 4 Star hotel. If you have children - then you might like it a but as we are a retired couple, looking for a peaceful and beautiful hotel we found it to be full of young children (it was not half term) who were intent on screaming and creating even at dinner and in the bar later.
