    APPALLING! From day one the staff were not only unhelpful but ignorant for basic communication skills. The initial meeting with agent one was fine as he was friendly and new at the job. Showed us a few flats til we decided on one we liked. Went to sort the paper work out, signed and paid deposit. Got a call later that day saying we needed to return to the office as the agent gave us the wrong form to fill out and we needed to fill out a new one to avoid being charged. THAT should have been the first warning to run away - the fact that we would have been charged for thier mistake. Upon pointing this out their reply was that it was company policy.

    When it came to the end of the tenancy the landlord was very, very adamant upon keeping the deposit because the carpets weren't cleaned. Well after 4 years of not cleaning the carpet then of course it wouldn't be brand new! Hunters were NO help as they replied it's between us and the landlord and we can only release the deposit when both parties agree. Went to speak to the manager about this and she was not only unhelpful but rude, cutting me short because she "Was busy with other customers".

    NEVER EVER AGAIN! STAY FAR AWAY FROM MANCHESTER CITY CENTRE (DEANSGATE) HUNTERS!!!!

    I would never ever recommend Hunters as a letting agency. They messed us about from day one and never return our calls. The only reason I stay with them is that I love my flat, but when I leave it I will never use them again. Their staff are unhelpful and very unreliable. They do not turn up to viewings and never apologise. We can never get hold of them when we want to and they perform stupidly frequent inspections then make petty comments like saying we hadn't hoovered one room well enough.

    We have had so many problems with Hunters Estate Agents it's untrue. They have very regular inspections that usually occur when you at work. I have had damage to my property and because both the landlord and Hunters have keys cannot prove who is at fault. There is a major damp problem in the property that we rent and Hunters will do nothing about it apart from tell us to keep the down stairs windows open all the time. Which is a open invite for a burglar. There staff are very unprofessional ...

    The agents at Hunter Estates are quick to return your calls with answers (but it would take them days to respond to your email, if any). Had a fairly good price after some haggling with the rental, and all transactions went smoothly. Would definitely use them again!

    I would never use them again. The situation was handled very unprofessionally. The managers are very pleasant, and they deal with situations very well, unfortunately, the staff I dealt with give the feeling that they are rushed and don't have time for you. I signed the lease and I was not told that they had told the property owner that they would not manage the account, but I knew nothing of this until after paying the deposit, rent, stamp duty fees and administration fee.
