    Good Points: Runs quietly looks nice and cleans efficiently.


    Bad Points: The dishwasher is not even two years old and the plastic control panel has broken off twice, it's very light plastic and does not seem to be constructed properly. I called Bosch and they were unwilling to do anything other than suggest I find my proof of purchase from where I bought it.


    General comments: I"m irritated about the control panel issue on this Bosch SHU4300, even if there are other qualities I like about the dishwasher it's not enough. It took a while to order the panel, we live in Ohio and they had to order it from San Francisco, California. It was expensive now the same thing has happened again, unless the company were to honor what has happened and replace my dishwasher, there's no reason to give a favorable review.

    We have the Bosch 4300 series with a cabinet front....about 6 years old. If anyone has a problem with the cleaning from a Bosch dishwasher, try reducing the amount of soap you use by about 1/2....reduce even more if your water is softened about 1/2 way up to the lowest line. This was recommended to us by a repairman who loved Bosch dishwashers, but had heard complaints about consumers thinking their dishes looked dirty.
