Good Points: Just got mine today, 19/07/2008. The tonal adjustment range is amazing, has excellent balance, and the action is the best part. It has a 24 fret neck and is only 10 months old. It's a Mark King series 1 model. You can feel the craftsmanship straight away.

Bad Points: Too early to comment, but i can't see any bad points.

General comments: I first tried a Jaydee in Carlsbro Sound in Sheffield 24 years ago, it was an eye opener as it was so natural to play/hold. The sound and warmth was awesome. I didn't have the readies at that time to purchase it. I haven't played the bass since 1988, and as i have always wanted one, i got the chance to get a mint custom model at reasonable money, so i went for it. I got a Trace Elliot 4 x 10 combo a few weeks ago for a bargain price, so now i had an excuse to buy a JD.

A well balanced guitar, especially when performing a two to three hour gig, or just practising at home puts a smile on your face. I have been semi-pro for about 25 years, also have taught over many years, recorded, done all the 'ish hence have had the opportunity to try many hundreds of differing guitars. Do you think I would trade for any of them?? No chance. Also, when changing string gauge due to differing types of music, i.e, from light jazz funk slap style to heavier rock, the bass is very ...

The Jaydee Supernatural Mk2 bass is a superb piece of craftsmanship, through neck, laminated body (exotic woods), laminated wood pick-up covers. Huge range of tones available. I have played many quality basses but none so far come close to the Jaydee. Suits light gauge strings best. For a bassist who enjoys a slim neck and decent bridge string spacing, this is worth a look. They come up from time to time on ebay and go for anything from about £500 to £1000 +.
    Highly recommended.
