    The Hibiscus House is in a very small village,hotel and staff very friendly and helpful. A very nice place to relax and forgot the English weather. Concerned about walking around village.

    My wife and I went to Hibiscus House, Brufut in March (08). From the moment we walked through the gate in the wall which surrounds this garden hotel, they couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. Guests are outnumbered by staff by nearly 3 to 1, and they all remember your name. It is an oasis of relaxed calm and top service in a beautiful garden setting centred on the swimming pool.     Great place to stay if you want to taste a slice of the real Gambia (it is in a village) and also want some luxury. Great food. Lovely attentive staff.

    Absolutely amazing, great treatment, the hotel feels very exclusive and could easily be in the likes of the Maldives or Barbados paying thousands of pounds per night yet this hotel is amazingly reasonable. I am going back in March 2008

    The rooms at Hibiscus House in Brufut are fantastic, and the pool and jacuzzi were very relaxing. It is peaceful and tranquil, and the food is exotic, original and fresh.

    I would definitely recommend this place to a friend.
