Good Points: Excellent pistol for beginners and pro shooters to practice at home
-Heavy trigger gives a realistic feeling that makes responsible practice possible for learning to shoot if you wasn't to shoot with real life ammo pistols at a shooting club.
-Nice pricing with the Red Dot scope.
-30 to 40 shoots on a Co2 for powerful shots but at ten yards you can easy shoot 60 to 80 rounds.
-Co2 capsule is easily locked in the handle/grip
    -8 shots rotary magazine

Bad Points: -shoots only flat pellets, no hollowpoint pellets or copperpoint pellets

General comments: The Red Hawk is an excellent co2 pistol for the starting and experienced sport shooter. If you are starting your hobby in the world of shooting it is a great practice weapon especially for the 10 to 12 yards range.

I myself use this weapon to practice at home when not going to my shooting club where I shoot 38 Special. And i still really enjoy this model. Because of the heavy trigger many people complain about with this gun however this heavy trigger that many people see as a flaw in this gun makes this gun excellent for practice and gives almost a similar feel when pulling the trigger of a real gun.

I would recommend this model for people who want a way to practice their sport in a fashion that is not so expensive and yet get most out of it.

The gun under good expertised supervision is also very good for the beginning or younger sportshooters 16+ if the law allows this in your country ofcourse.

A very good point in the always safety first zone:

when you slide the gun open and remove the rotary pellet magazine and leave the gun open everyone can see that the gun is not loaded.

Even though it is a very safe gun accidents can always happen if you do not take every safety precaution. Always use shooting glasses and I don't have to mention never point your gun at a person or living creature. Just think before you shoot.

Enjoy, Shoot wise, shoot safe. Don't drink and shoot and don't let critics when u take every safety precaution and use your gun wisely bully you arround.

Shooting is an Olympic sport and not easy at all and as every sport there are pro and contras. See how much violence occurs at soccer games (hooligans etc.)

It are not guns that kill people, people kill people. So be safe and have fun.

I received my Walther Red Hawk and was impressed with the weight and overall feel of the pistol, especially due to it's sub £50 price tag from J S R. The top slider action was very good and the shut lines of the plastic were accurate.

Initial loading of the Red Hawk was very straight forward, and upon filling the rotary magazine, it is dropped into position and the top slider closed. Fitting the CO2 bottle was equally straight forward and fits into a carrier, which in turn fits nicely i ...
