Good Points: Airline staff very polite
Bad Points: Poor customer services
General comments: We traveled to and from Malta over the Christmas period. On the flight out we sat in the middle of the plane, and before the cabin crew had served half the plane they had run out of both hot and cold food. On the return flight they issued the menus and then announced they had no food except a few vegetarian breakfasts. This seemed rather strange as they explained that the passengers on the flight to Malta had eaten the chicken Korma. The flight from Malta was at 12.40pm therefore the passengers flying to Malta supposedly had chicken Korma for breakfast.
I emailed my comments the last week in December and have just received a bog standard reply which does not answer my questions (Feb 9th). How's that for customer service?

It seems Easyjet may have taken over already. Completely different flying experience to what I have been used to.
Avoid like the plague, and don't book on BA.com for flights after 29 March. Although it states GB Airways flight, this is in fact an Easyjet flight. I have made that mistake, and still waiting to find out what is happening!!!
Appalling customer service on return leg, barely saw any of the crew!

We regularly use GB Airways for our holiday flights to Spain. On this occasion, as it was our honeymoon, we thought let's upgrade.
A truly excellent experience, with a friendly, customer focused, professional crew. Nothing was a hassle. The food was excellent and the seats were very comfortable.
If only mainline BA crews were a patch on their colleagues at GB. I highly recommend them to anyone who would perhaps usually travel on charter flights. Their Economy product is equally as great value ...

We paid £78 including taxes etc. for a return flight in December, returning home after Christmas. Staff are friendly, airplane clean and comfortable. No problems with departures both ways on time.

Our flight to Tenerife was operated by GB Airways but badged under the British Airways name. I have a mobility impairment, so this time I travelled with my lightweight electric mobility scooter. The airline let me use the scooter to the plane door before taking it and stowing it in the hold, and it was waiting for me again at the door when we disembarked. Staff were very helpful and courteous.
I will definitely use them again. These scheduled flights were cheaper than a charter flight! ...
