I had previously tried Johnsons Holiday Skin and Dove Summer Glow but neither of these worked really for me. They smelled of fake tan and just overall werent very good. I read some reviews on Garnier Summer Body and decided third time I might be lucky! So I went to Boots and got a 250ml Bottle priced at a very reasonable £4.88. I got home and opened the bottle and I LOVED the smell! It smells lovely! It does smell a tiny bit like fake tan but its nice.
I put it on everyday and soon you cou ...- Read Guest's review (168 words)

As a typical fair-skinned Celt, I've tried a lot of moisturisers with a hint of tan. Garnier Summerbody Moisturising Lotion gives the best colour and lasts pretty well. I actually use the one for darker skin as I really don't notice much difference using the fair one - it doesn't seem to build up to a decent colour. The smell isn't bad as tanning products go. Go easy with the amount of lotion you apply otherwise it doesn't really sink in and leaves you feeling tacky all day. Another bonus was it ...- Read Guest's review (102 words)

Love this Garnier Summerbody Moisturising Lotion.. best ever! I absolutely hate the smell of others, but Garnier has an apricot smell I think it is, which is fresh rather than a stale smell. The result too is such a bonus... very happy with this. Personally prefer the dark tones and mostly use this on my legs. Excellent.- Read Guest's review (57 words)

Garnier summerbody is the best tanning moisturising lotion on the market at the moment. Good colour, nice smell, easy application.
I find it works with your own pigment and therefore looked fab on upper body but using it on my legs was a no no.....just came out streaky even after a few days of use
Also I find it peels a little if there is too much build up- Read Guest's review (70 words)

My friend was wearing it and she said 'do you notice the fake tan' so i said no you can't its really good, so she said it was £2.50 for a small bottle, Garnier Summerbody Moisturising Lotion is really good.
It has a nice natural look to it onces its dryed and its on.
Takes a while for the colour to come up, have to put 2 coats on my skin for a decent colour.- Read luceejuicee's review (74 words)

WOW.....finally i have found a great fake tanning lotion in garnier summerbody lotion...........previous to this i was a regular applyer of fake bake, which is also one of the best fake tans out there with regards to colour, however it is too too exspensive and i usually find when i wash it comes off......BUT garnier summer body is great due to the fact that it is cheap, great in colour (it is brown olivey results rather than orange) and lasts for several days. i foind that it smells quite pleas ...- Read yaz135's review (210 words)

Garnier Summerbody Moisturising Lotion has a very nice smell but felt the tan is quite patchy/streaky for a pale person. I even ex foliated before hand and still was rather streaky but the colour was natural and not orange.- Read Guest's review (46 words)

I have been using Garnier Summerbody for 4 days and it looks great. I exfoliate using a sponge with the "scrubby" bit on one side, (making sure I concentrate on feet, elbows and knees) and then, once out of the shower and dried, just apply evenly all over! I use on my whole body and face and I have a great even tan which looks naturally sunkissed. I would certainly recommend using this, and it is such a bargain as well (Bought it last weekend for £2.33, while it is on offer!). If it ...- Read Guest's review (221 words)

If i don't moisturise everyday aswell as tan i end up blotchy and/or slightly itchy..Also I'm still unsure how to handle my hands as not having a tan up to my wrist looks odd and i have blotchy marks on my neck and jaw if i don't apply the horrible, sticky prescription creams... Oooh and i do still get dark fingers and have to be very careful between them even after scrubbing. Another problem was if i had long shower or baths or swam the tan was liable to come off on the towel oh and that remind ...- Read georgiatoday's review (195 words)

Some extra tips for Garnier Summerbody Moisturising Lotion and all other tans: always wear gloves - latex ones are the best as they help to achieve a smooth finish to the surface of the skin. When doing legs, get into the light so that you can see how the actual liquid or lotion is settling on the skin. Holding the legs towards the light allows you to smooth out any uneven lines. On elbows and ankles apply the lotion normally and then wipe or gently rub with a towel to take off excess. wash the ...- Read tan expert's review (245 words)

You have to go easy when applying around knees, ankles and elbows but it absorbs really fast and I could get dressed about 10 mintues after applying this product. It DOES NOT STAIN! as my bed sheets are white and they remained that colour. It did leave a smell on my clothes though but what lotion doesn't. Makes your skin ultra smooth and if you have spots or blemishes I found this actually made them fade.
When applying any fake tan though make sure you are well exfoliated and moisturised else ...- Read Guest's review (171 words)

Garnier Summerbody Moisturising lotion is so great. I prefer the lighter one as you get a really good colour and it makes you look healthy. You can also get in a darker shade but I find the lighter one is fine. I used tanning gloves as I read a review stating it stains your fingers. It doesn't go patchy or streaks and I really like the smell. I am very fair skinned and now look healthy and glowing. I also really like the smell. I have been using it for a few weeks now and have tried so many ot ...- Read Guest's review (119 words)

Garnier Summerbody Moisturising Lotion is a very nice body cream with tan. Looks quite natural and lasted quite a long time. Definitely the best I've tried, I'm going to abandon using the regular fake tanning products and only use this for the foreseeable future.- Read Guest's review (97 words)

I've been wanting to tan my body without going to a salon for it, and I didn't want to come out looking like a walking and talking orange. I wanted a light brown natural sunkissed tan look to show off in a bikini this summer on the beaches. I was searching Superdrug for some moisturiser, and I found myself looking at Garnier SummerBody Moisturising Lotion. It was on a special deal of 50% off, so I thought I'd give it a go. I got home from the shops and tried it immediately. I was a bit concerned ...- Read Guest's review (404 words)
