“So many discounts”

We wanted a quote for windows on our property, what we didnt want was a grossly exaggerated quote then given 5 different discounts including the everest reps discount because he's not a greedy man. We need 11 windows and 2 doors which is a lot so need value for money and what we were quoted isn't value and isnt how we want to be quoted either. “Prioritising new business over rectifying problems”

Firstly let me say that if I could rate as a zero I would do!! I would echo the sentiments of many others in that Everest prioritise new business which generates revenue rather than customer aftercare and repairing the shoddy work already carried out. After what appears to be the normal weeks delay from the original instalation date promised, we had a new flat roof fitted at the beginning of October (and paid in full) and almost immediatelty identified to Everest that water was not draining off… Read Full Review

Booked appointment for weekend: it was confirmed time with name of representative. Everest requested letter from landlord as property is let: never explained why and no other estimate companies required it. No one arrived for appointment so called and was told there was no record of the appointment. Then how was the name of the representative known? “Worst Ever Experience”

Absolutely the worst experience from a so called professional company I have ever encountered. The salesman did not have a full knowledge of the products. The installation was poor - I was left with a front door that was so stiff it was impossible for anyone apart from myself to operate. The advice being it would ease up ! It took a further six visits for a supposedly competent firm to fit a front door to some sort of reasonable standard. It is still not correct after over a year however… Read Full Review

Already done that at least 50 times. When can I have what i paid for?
Half the time customer services don't reply. Was in contact with very helpful customer services rep, who unfortunately have since left.
Only recourse now is court & media.
Why isn't customer services monitoring these blogs- if Everest really care about customer service?

I agree totally. Top prices, appalling customer service, installation 'engineers' that don't know what they are doing, even 'top' engineer brought up from Herts. He has caused more problems to add to the 40 visits in 2 years. He replaced leaking windows(+scratched glass) at last, but hasn't fitted them properly. They are draughty, blowing heavy blackout blinds when closed & dust blows in when it is windy. He refitted patio door & lock (5times), now we have a huge gap around top of frame- probably source of all the draughts we have been experiencing and giving good view out into garden, where frame should be - so presumably not been correctly measured. Installation manager told me I was out of order to be cross, when I asked him when were Everest actually going to get it right, which made me more cross, especially as I had had to put myself out to accommodate him! - not to mention the other 39 times! Top installation engineer also cracked all tiles on roof & cracked render, which he claimed he had noted on remedial report. All communications stopped when I sent them report with NO mention - because it was a (nother) lie!

My nightmare with Everest began in September 2016. I am including a quick synopsis of the work carried out by Everest below but the reason for this review is the attitude of Everest towards compensating me for the quality of work and the time it has taken me to get the work done to a point that I can live with it. Continuing problems getting Everest to follow up on defects post installation. Poor communication and followup. They Definately have no right to use the tag line 'Fit the best'. “Badly run company”

We placed an order with Everest in April at twice the cost of their competitors to cure problems with condensation and mould, because we were deluded into thinking that Everest are a reliable company. We were told that two fitters would carry out the straight forward job of installing six first floor UPVC replacement windows on 25th & 26th May. Late morning on 25th one fitter turned up. Thank you for your automated response.
If you were an efficient and conscientious company you would have a long record of meetings, appointments, phone calls and letters that Customer Relations could “investigate”.
Please see my letter of 20/11/16 (reference: 32/WT2063AU) which led to him recommending an offer of compensation. Or as you call it: “a goodwill gesture”.
I continue to await a call with a realistic and proportionate offer.

“Poor customer service after installation”

Everest replaced 90% of the windows in my large house in early-October. Initially the work looked fine. Then within 2 weeks the south west wind dislodged two panels from an upstairs front bay window. Around the same time, when the double glazed units cooled and mist formed on the outside, about half the units showed marks like photo-negative marks. “bi fold doors after sales ”

e had 4 mitre wide aluminium bi fold doors fitted Sept 2016, after sales very poor , customer service poor. one of the doors sealed glass units had a a number of hand prints in the internal glass, came out to change unit in November 2016, the glass they changed was worse than the original one fitted, loads of hand prints inside the door glass unit. “Faulty windows”

I had Everest DG windows fitted 2 weeks ago. Two of the windows are faulty. I have phoned and phoned to get someone to come and repair or replace the faulty windows and have been fobbed off. I am considering asking for a refund for the rubbish and getting another supplier to refit windows that actually will open and close. I can't in all honesty rate everest at all. “No communication, no customer service”

We had 4 big windows and a bifold door put in 7 weeks ago. First the installers turned up unannounced, we had no letter or phone call giving a specific day, and as I have a lot of valuable cats that can't go out, preparations have to be made. “Worst ever service”

We ordered 3 windows and a door for installation in August 2016. The installation date was today 1/11/16. There was suppose to be 2 installers suppose to turn up at 0900. Instead 1 turned up at 10.30 and said he was on his on and he could only work till 1 pm. The job would not completed today and we would to reschedule with the fitting manager. As stated in the review, Customer Services were contacted originally - and nobody took interest. I've spoken to Customer Services today to ask about the phone calls and also asked about the outstanding invoice - and funnily enough they had no record of the invoice.

I can't see how e-mailing Customer Services as you have suggested will make any difference as I will just be ignored (again).

“Front door - Poor After care”

Moved into new purchased property a couple of years ago and were notified that a “quality” new front door had been installed by Everest and would be under guarantee if there were any problems. “Still waiting!!”

In January we had a new garage door and back door fitted by Everest. There were some problems with the fitting which still have not been sorted.Everest seem to be proactive at the point of sale but any other contact has always had to be initiated by ourselves. We were told in June that a part had been ordered for the back door. This response from the "company" is clearly provided by a robot. The alternative is that the company thinks we are daft. Do you really think I haven't already sent a message to customer [dot] relations [at] everest [dot] co [dot] uk about this? Really? I even mentioned in my review above that I sent Everest a message, and received no response. I don't think anyone from Everest actually READS these reviews. Their response is identical, no matter what the review says. Further evidence that the company lacks any real customer service, whatsoever.

Appalling service unless it is a sales call they do not really want to know. Unless you complain you do not get a appointment and then it will be for about three weeks ahead. however you will be luck if their engineer or representative turns up. Contact the ceo, his PA will reply to your email & things do seem to get sorted out I hope this helps as I'm still trying to get my mothers appalling installation sorted out with baby steps one window at a time seems is all they can manage. They are definitely not THE BEST & I think they should be banned from using that in all advertising

Thank you for your advise I was going to do just that.
I also agree with you regarding them being the best; it is false. I have seen an installation being done by a local family firm and the attention to detail and the way they worked was superb. Next time do your research and use the best local firm.

My parents are in their nineties and, unbeknown to me at the time, chose to have some replacement doors and windows from Everest. I would have advised them to go to someone else. They were sold a product that was not fit for purpose. Everest took their money, they were charged an extortionate amount, and my husband has now taken up the case on their behalf. Hi, my mother has just done the same as your parents all of the Windows & patio door have issues. The man in charge of the fitters just takes the Micky as 4 failed turn ups to rectify the bay window, so I emailed the CEOs of Everest, low & behold his PA got hold of the right people & window was refitted, still has an issue regarding lead work under cill but looks better than before so try emailing him. I hope this helps
