Good Points: I feel like I can't miss with this gun! Never jams - ever!

Bad Points: Turkey loads though will make you think you put a 2x4 against your shoulder and ran into a tree. Oh well, if that's what it takes to nail a big Tom - so be it. Plus, it's not like you shoot alot of rounds turkey hunting anyway.

General comments: Without hesitation, the Benelli M2 is 100% worth every penny I paid for it. This gun is my main go-to gun for turkeys, ducks, pheasant and deer.

Just used my M2 for the first time on a Georgia Quail hunt. Probably the best investment I've made in a shotgun. It's a dream to shoot, no recoil, excellent handling and very light to carry. Didn't have any problems with ejection that I've read about. The action after two full days of hunting looked like it just came out of the box , no fouling. Was about to purchase the Ultra Light and glad I didn't.

I liked the 12 gauge enough that I bought it in .20 gauge and it was worth every cent. Handles all different types of shells well. Reliable. Great sight picture. I would recommend the Benelli M2 Field Comfortech to everyone

I have owned an M2 Field for about 6 months now and I can say that I am very impressed. I used mine opening day of dove season and I could not believe the awsome performance this gun gave me. It shouldered very nicely and the recoil was minimal for a 12. This made doubles a little common that day. I have definitely become a Benelli fan,so much that I bought a Cordoba 20 gauge a couple of days ago. Will give review on this one soon.

The Benelli M2 Field Comfortech is a light gun, easy to pack and looks great. From the people I know who have had the gun and myself, we agree the gun is harder to shoulder and we think Beretta is an easier gun to shoot. I would look at the xtrema 2 beretta, much safer bet.

All the Benellis are great guns to own. In California, you will hardly ever see a used one for sale. If you do, it has been my experience that they get picked up quickly and that the price for them are nearly same as if you had bought it new. Benelli does a great job of marketing their guns and they do have great quality control.

Thought i'd update my previous review as i have had the gun for almost a year now and my last review may have been exaggerated as i had only had it a short while. That said, i have put almost 10,000 cartridges through it now with no problems, although Rio are not the best choice for this gun. Overall, great gun, very reliable, easy to shoot and use, good patterns with 2 3/4 clear pigeon cartriges. A joy to use, and just about the easiest auto there is as far as cleaning and maintenance goes. H ...

Tough gun. Will outlast you for sure. Don't like the recoil. Overall a good gun, but I would rather spend $300 less and get a Remington 1187 and not have to put up with the recoil

The Benelli M2 Field Comfortech is a great gun except it has problems with 3 inch heavy shot. Numerous times, while goose hunting, after the first shot, the second shell would not cycle, and I had to do it manually. This rarely happens with 2 3/4 dove loads, which is odd.

All credit to John Forsey guns in Welling, a very helpful service! if you're looking for a low recoil 12 guage the Benelli M2 Field Comfortech is the gun for you, in fact even if you aren't, it's still the gun for you! I was looking for a replacement gun for my 20 guage as my 16th birthday approached, and I knew this was the one for me as soon as I laid hands on it. What a piece of engineering magnificence! The reason I opted for this gun, is because of my disability, I have bery poor balanc ...
