The ETX platform is the first and only trading platform I have used, being very new to Forex trading. I find the availability of the webinars and the clear presentation with a no fuss approach to trading exceptionally valuable. Being new I am returning to the webinars to consolidate my knowledge until such time as I'm up to speed with the platform and strategies...there isn't an issue with return visits which is an added bonus! Enrolled on the ETX Capital Advanced Trading course at week 2 at the moment , it has changed my trading profit margin, now having gains every day, makes it easier for me not to take a trade as checklist not met.The lessons are well organized and with each lesson you can go away and apply to your trading as each lesson self contained. the instructor is very clear and the interaction is awesome. They always close you out i have been using etx for approx just over a year they have great customer service but there spreads are inaccurate u will never win with them untrustworthy do not use them they will always give you inaccurate info numourous occasions i have called and asked about they delay in there charts they wont tsll you the truth nobody will be honest i have been in the building in london they dont lkke you asking questions and definetly do not like u snooping around they... ETX free trading webinars are fantastic & much better than a Knowledge to Action paid course, which was a complete rip off. Unlike the said course, there is no waffle or offensive up-selling on your time & they get right to the heart of the matter. In addition the strategies work & you do not have to subscribe to a 3rd party software package. I only wish I had got to ETX before wasting thousands of pounds, still I am on the right track now. Just enrolled and watched first two parts of ETX course on charting analysis. Absolutely brilliant! If only I had enrolled on this course last year, it has transformed my trading competely. I have now made the change from losing money each wek to making money each day - and the course is only half way though. as a beginner, I am activly participating in their educational webinars and advance training courses (extremely valuable), I have been to other companies, but so far I have found the ETX service to be the best, they work really hard on providing the great aid and seem like a decent company. I watched last night's webinar on spread betting on MT4. I was really pleased with the level of detail the webinar went into. The platform looks complicated at first glance, but the host gave us some helpful tips on how to set up the trading platform and saving profiles for future use. Best of all, it was free! (read more)

I was initially attracted to etx because of trading 50p/pips but now I realise it was a huge mistake. Nice and colourful platform but they have a way of closing your trade unnecessary when your stop loss is close. While other brokers are quoting 1.24283, they quote 1.2431 . They have a VERY bad spread compared to other brokers I have been using the platform for over 8 months now but now I quit. I support others in saying ETX is a s..m. BEWARE (read more)

The thing I like about this lot, is their customer service skills, very pleasant on the phone and genuinely helpful. All brokers are different and these are no exception, some spreads are good, some bad, some parts of the platform are good, some bad. 1) Re-quotes? Yes, all the time, very annoying and ultimately costly. 2) Won't let you open an order if the market price is within "x" points of your order opening price? Whilst I don't mind ETX Capital's platform, I do find their software unreliable and their spreads not as tight as IG Index or Capital Spreads. Whilst it is quite easy to use and clear, this is the least I am expecting from my trading software and that is the experience achieved using this. (read more)

Overall ETX Capital is by far the best spread betting platform out there by far!!! :) INCREDIBLE PLATFORM...

AMAZING PURE LAYOUT, QUICK AND EASY TO USE.

Can open / close positions in seconds, clearly see your current overall profit / loss, and can open positions with mandatory stoploss within a few seconds.

Nice very tight spreads on indicies.

Ive tried IG, CMC, and capital spreads, but they just simply didnt come close to Tradindex!! ;) (read more)

They missed two sale orders with limits within 30mins of each other, the watch list bugs out often whilst in portfolio manager, as at 16.35 24/01/08 the website seems to be down and I don't know how long for.
Don't send feedback whilst trading as the feedback box makes the site hang and it then returns with sorry your message could not be sent after 30mins, ofc by this time its logged you out. The figures for account balance may vary from actual portfolio depending on how often you refresh.... (read more)
