  I love clinique clarifying lotion! was using number two for a while, but have just moved up to number as my skin is terribly oily, it tames my skin, keeping it clear, oil free and get rid of of all the gunk my cleanser doesnt remove! love it!

  I think clinique clarifying lotion is awesome, I used to have quite a teenage acne-scarred complexion and it's totally taken that down. I use number 2, for normal skin and it makes my skin feel so clean and fresh - it's actually quite disgusting the amount of extra dirt it gets off my face after cleansing sometimes. It is quite a good exfoliator so I'd advise using a moisturiser with an SPF factor afterwards.

  I actually completely disagree. I've been using Clinique Clarifying Lotion with all of the steps for about 5 years. I use a 4 (if anything is going to dehydrate your skin, it's that one) and my skin feels excellent everytime I use it. It never causes flakes and does the job of shrinking pores that it's supposed to. Of course, always use it with a moisturizer.

  I think Clinique Clarifying Lotion is the worst product ever of Clinique's. It certainly destroyed 3-step's reputation for a lot of people. No matter how clever they make it sound, this smells and feels like a bottle of alcohol, and it actually contains masses! That being said, it dehydrates skin as soon as you put it on, and all the flakes I cleansed off were back on again. Purely a waste of money.
