Fantastic airline. First time we used them to fly to Vancouver from Heathrow. The staff were very friendly and very helpful. The flight was very pleasant both directions. Would definitely fly with them again. Only bad point, the A330 has no personal tv.

Air Canada had the worst cabin crew service I have experienced. Among other things, tried to buy Duty Free, but seemed to get completely ignored, then forgotten, then told it was too late.

They tell me that I can cancel my ticket if the system allows me for the full refund. I did it but it ended up in just credit for the next flight whit them. NO help from any one in their worst costumer service in the world.

I fly often for business and I cringe each time I have to fly Air Canada. Something always goes wrong and when it does no one from the airline seems to deal with the problem. I've provided feedback to the airline on numerous occasions regarding mistakes/poor experiences and each time it takes anywhere from 15-30 days to respond to me! By that time I've already told hundreds of people about my bad experience. Once I had filed a complaint about a damaged bag... they didn't get back to me until 30 ...

My girlfriend was supposed to meet me in London from New York City on a redeye connecting from Ottawa. Her flight from La Guardia to Ottawa was delayed one hour and instead of waiting for passengers to connect from New York, the flight had already departed for London! The airline did not even give her a complimentary night at a hotel. This is by far the worst airline experience I have ever had in 20 years. I would not recommend using this airline under any condition.

On time both ends. Air Canada flight crew were extremely friendly. Legroom surprisingly comfortable. Food was good and service was excellent. In flight entertainment was good. Aircraft (A330) was clean. International economy flight from Vancouver to Heathrow on A330. Ranked as one of my best international flights.

I had to go from Edmonton to Orlando. On the way down I managed to avoid Air Canada and everything went without a hitch. On the way back to save my company some money I had to use Air Canada. I cringed at this as it is always the worst flying experience. Sure enough my bags are gone. Hope to see them someday but I'm not holding my breath.

Long delays, flight cancellations, lost luggage - I found them completely unreliable. Would not recommend to fly with this airline and I will certainly never use them again if I can avoid it.

I flew AC round trip from YYZ-NRT. The New 777 is awesome. The flight out had a plane go MX so we had to wait for a 777 to come in from LHR to replace ours. A total of a 4 hr delay. We missed connections but it was alright spending the night in Japan before going on to the Philippines. So the flight there the crew seemed very rushed. But thats expected when you try to turn such a large aircraft when one went MX. Once we got in the air, my IFE did not work so i asked if i could change seats and t ...

Perhaps, in my opinion, the absolute worst company in the world! Flights are always late, flights are always changed. When you dial the customer service number, nobody can answer your questions. This company has received so many government bail-outs, they just don't care about their customers..... they know the government will continue to inject cash. They have no direct competition to speak of, and it shows...they just don't care! I am forced to fly with them 3 or 4 times a year, but if at ...

They lost our luggage and didn't find it for 12 days. It was supposed to be a snowboarding holiday, and without our gear, a lot of time and money was wasted. Not only that, but Air Canada told us they would reimburse us for hire expenses. But when it comes to actually paying up, guess what, nothing!

Flew LHR-YYZ return on new 777 in Exec class. New pods very nice but for me very hard to sleep in as quite hard, need a bit more padding on seats AC. Pods also not so good if travelling with spouse, sit in center aisle and the center partition does go down so you can at least see your travelling companion. MLL in LHR is very nice and nice snacks, not the same for YYZ(Toronto) extremely crowded and snacks mostly raw veg and nasty soup. FA very attentive and food on flight was quite nice, don't d ...

I booked our tickets on Thur Apr. 10 for travel next March 2009. Air Canada has the only direct flight to San Juan and I wanted to be sure to book early to a) get this flight and b) get the best pricing that I could. Before I booked online, I called into Air Canada and talked to a booking agent who told me that "yes it is a good idea to book as soon as possible". Today (Apr. 14) I went to the Air Canada site and see the EXACT trip for a difference of $214.76 pp or $429.52 from what I paid for ...

I didn't expect Air Canada to be this bad. The Hostess kept knocking me with her trolley and did not seem bothered when she did it. They are in no way in the same league as BA or Virgin

Given my ticket was £40 cheaper than BA (London-Toronto) I should have just forked out the extra bit and had better service. I had forgotten the reasons why I vowed not to fly Air Canada again the last time I flew with them. On flight entertainment is virtually non existent. Two screens sited in the middle row and that's your lot!! Seats are rickety and shabby and most uncomfortable for an overnight flight. Next time I will fly BA...never mind the cost.

For business, I take Air Canada, regardless of the increased cost. Their business class is far and away better than any of the U.S. and Eurpean airlines. They are my #1 choice for airline. For the last 4 years I have flown a lot in my job and that has made me realise how much I love Air Canada. The food, the service and the people all make it my #1 choice whenever I can fly them. An Air Canada flight, is unfortunately, much more expensive than many alternatives.

I am a frequent flier with AC, and have to deal with the miserable ticket agent/help desk all the time. I think I get better service at Burger king than with these folks. period.

An example of buffoonery - On a flight out of Fort McMurray to Seattle, on a morning in winter of -35C, (normal winter temperature), we sat on the apron for an hour while they waited for a temperature increase to allow them to de-ice the wings. Air Canada's stuff froze at these northern Canada temperatures. Since this was just a weekend trip, and many passengers had already missed our connections, we asked if Air Canada would confirm us through to Seattle that day. They wouldn't, and after seve ...

I have flown on many airlines, including Delta, United, AA, British Airways, Span Air, Air NZ, Scandinavian Airlines, Lufthansa, TACA, Lan Peru, Aero Continente, WestJet...and Air Canada has been among the best. For a long time I felt that British Airways had raised the bar for me in what I expect in air travel. Air Canada - while still not quite British Airways, is pretty close in my opinion. Their recent improvements have paid off and I think people should give them a chance. Five years in a r ...
