    Good Points: Atmosphere, staff, homecare advice.


    Bad Points: Head massage wasn't long enough! But it was lovely all the same.


    General comments: I can honestly say, I have been to a good few salons in my time and this is the best one. My stylist is like my friend and I feel so comfortable with them. I now use Philip Kingsley products on my hair so I get the salon look at home. It really is the best stuff!

    Fake atmosphere, false staff. Happy to take your money and cut your hair but if you have any questions or issues, they were not happy to resolve as they feel they have washed their hands of you. There are many much better hairdressers in Brentwood that you can go to.

    Was welcomed by staff passing around a baby - don't the customers come first??
    My stylist appeared to have an attitude problem although I am not sure if it was because I had to pull her away from her mothers meeting so she could cut my hair?
    I had a 50% off voucher. Although this seemed a good price I thought the quality of the cut was terrible. My stylist was constantly bantering with her colleagues which made me feel uncomfortable and I felt she did not concentrate on my hair.

    I thought Spargo Hairdressers was great when I went! I had a senior stylist.

    I had a cut and blow dry for half price, because I had a recommend a friend voucher.

    I was given a great haircut, and the stylist did a fantastic job, and I felt that she knew exactly what she was talking about - which is useful!

    At the end, I got some vouchers for my friends so they can have their hair done at half price, and I will receive a £5 voucher.

    Although it was nice of the reception staff to offer a drink, I have given a score of zero as the actual product I was after (a nice haircut) turned out to be very poor. One month after haircut, I have split ends which has never happened before. I also asked for advice about my thinning hair and was told it was fine, even though I clearly have a few bald patches. Luckily, there are plenty of other hairdressers in Brentwood for me to take my business to in the future!

    I was quite nervous attending my first appointment at Spargo, but I quickly got over that - everyone is so friendly. I can honestly say its the best hairdressers I've been to and I wouldn't go anywhere else.

    I have been to Spargo and now am a regular, I LOVE IT HERE, i referred it to my friend who has also had a fantastic experience. Great value for money, I can leave my hair to dry with no styling and the cut is fantastic. I am really pleased and return every 6 weeks. I have had an experience wih nits before as I have younger siblings and I have to say it was dealt with discretely and I was actually grateful to be told (even though I did not have itching either) so I could deal with it ASAP.     I love the Spargo hairdressing salon in Brentwood. The Good Salon Guide has given it 5 Stars, which it deserves.

    I used to go to Tony & Guy, but Spargo are far more personal.

    What can I say? I went in to the Spargo hairdressers in Brentwood for a simple haircut for new job in the city. Senior stylist washed and shampooed my hair fine. She then proceeded to cut it. Fine too. However, halfway through, she got another girl to blow dry my hair while she went to find some straighteners. This girl left me sitting in the chair to go and talk to senior stylist. The senior stylist came back and told me that I had to leave the salon immediately as the girl had diagnosed nits, ...
