    Bad Points: Starter problems, seems to start every time but the starter sounds lime it going to come apart every time I start the engine. Virago starters are known to have problems.


    General comments: I love my 93 Virago 920! Great handling, reliable, great power, torque. I have been very impressed with the way it rides and runs!

    I don't like V-twins, I've never liked V-twins, and I don't like this Yamaha XV920MK Midnight Virago 920 V-twin. That being said it only cost me $1000 and is one of the best 80's model V-twins I have ever had the pleasure to ride. If you want to see what can be done with this engine as a starting point just look at the modern Yamaha Road Star and V Star bikes. They are simply the ultimate destination of a journey started by the 1981 750 Virago. Once I get my tourer, I will be turning this one in ...
