This, from a country that sells Stella Artois (a working man's beer in Belgium) as a premium beer abroad. Hmmmm. The advertising copy reads, Frull beer is "very unique from anything else in the Canadian market today." Fire your advertising company. There is no "very unique", it is unique or it is not. And "unique from" needs to be only unique. Worse, "unique from anything else in the Canadian market today." Jesus wept. Of course it is today, would it be tomorrow? How about "unique in the... Wow - Fruli is like a strawberry smoothie mixed with a good Bavarian wheat beer. Its certainly moreish and that's where you can get into trouble with this little number.
Getting into trouble is easy - after about number 5 or 6 you start to wish you had stopped at number 3 and ordered a real smoothie instead.
Cracking little tipple - only to be applied in serious moderation. Hard to find. I can only think of two independent pubs that serve it around SW London.
I always recommend Fruli, but...

It's a nice, light beer. Very feminine though, and I don`t think I`d drink it for a whole night, but it`s nice to have a few of. (read more)

I'm not a beer lover, but a friend got me to try Fruli, and I've been hooked every since. It doesn't really taste of beer. It is more like a strawberry smoothie, but without the thick texture. I believe you can also get this in Apple, but I have yet to find it. (read more)
