Emirates Airline Forget it !! Over-rated and ground staff extreemly arrogant to Customers. Regular delayed flights, The First Class on-board section and in-airport (especially Dubai) far below the the standard of Qatar Airlines (Qatar Airlines Business Class Lounge exceeds Emirate Airlines First Class Lounge !!!).
My Company, which gives Emirates Airlines major business for our Staff Airline Ticketing are seriously considering cancelling and moving to a more efficient airline. On many occassions staff have been delayed reaching important appointments and their individual employment venues due to delayed flights.
Complain letters are responded to late or remain unanswered. Telephone calls to Emirates Airline go unanswered or long waiting ring-out periods, which when answered are 'fobbed-off'..
If they serve their First Class Passengers as we (My wife and I, plus my staff colleagues) have been treated, then goodness knows how Economy Class are acknowledged on board and/or at the-airport !!
After (regretably) having to fly Emirate Airlines on numerous occassions I have had enough of their 'laid-back attitude and certainly will NOT be using their service again, a decision concurred by a substantial number of my peer colleagues. I shall in future be taking my custom to Qatar Airlines, or similar reputable airlines, where reliability and courteous staff; unlike Emirates, can be relied upon and dont mislead the general public into believing they are the best airline to fly with (rubbish), but time and time again have proven not to be.
Without a doubt Emirate Airlines expanding business has created an arroganct reduced customer service, that, may lead them into a chain-reaction where they will eventually become a second or third rate airline. Take British Airways as an example !!!
For those persons that say the food onboard Emirate Airlines is top-notch, all I say to them is their standard is of an expectation which must be pretty low from consuming foods of a level that obviously glorifys sub-standard fayre that is disguised by a fancy china plate, shiney steel cutlery and a starched cloth napkin !
When I pay for a service I expect to receive but is not provided I will endevour to have my money back !! more people should do the same - perhaps then Emirate Airlines will come down off their self built pedestal..
I laugh whenever I see their Television advertisements - hilarious and an utter waste of good money !!!

We were lucky enough to win business class tickets on Emirates when we flew to the Maldives in 2007. We first flew in to Dubai, then got a connecting flight to Male.
I have to say that I had never experienced business class before on any airline but the experience on Emirates on the way out was fantastic. The plane was quite new and had brilliant seats - they could be extended to lie completely flat and were in their own 'pod' so they couldn't intrude on the person behind you.
There was a gr ...- Read theangryhellcat's review (196 words)

Flight out was with my daughter and we had plenty of seating room and the footrests were at that time available, something you need if you are under 5 foot.
Coming back the footrests were missing and the seats proved to be very uncomfortable and because of the bump on the front of the seat it cuts your circulation off behind your knee. Needless to say I complained to the cabin staff but they said that the footrests had been removed to save on weight. Won't willingly use Emirates even to save mon ...- Read Guest's review (98 words)

I travel regularly to Thailand, Previously Emirates airline was my prefered choice, however the cabin crews were so arrogent and rude on both outgoing and incoming flight that I have decided never to use Emirates airline again. The baggage allowence from Birmingham (BHX)is a paltry 20kgs. The desk staff even weighed my hand luggage!
Going out I asked for a glass of water, this never came, coming back, I asked for an extra piece of chocolate because the quality of food was terrible from bangkok, ...- Read thaiwife's review (123 words)

Heathrow staff had no idea what was going on, kept saying it would be another half hour (sheduled departure 10.15pm, eventually I got into a hotel at Heathrow at 6am, rebooked the following day via Dubai and Perth, no compensation, no access to lounges, no access to baggage - "we're just following EU regulations" - never going Emirates again

We use to fly Emirates many years ago and it was great. Service is no longer very good. Even in business class it took forever to get drinks. The seats are poorly designed and are so uncomfortable. This must have been a common complaint, because now the attendants go around handing out pads to put on the seats. This takes up time and also must cost even more for cleaning, etc. Also, when returning from Dubai, we had to take a bus out for a very long ride then boarded a plane via staircase. Seat in business class did not recline more than a seat in economy on a night flight.
There was no point paying for business class seat.
When reported Emirates could not have cared less.
No compensation was offered.
Just told it was one of those things.
Shall not travel with that company again unless they offer some kind of compensation.
They advertise the best service possible and it is far from being true.
They used to be good and caring.
There are other airlines that show more care. ...- Read beatricek's review (88 words)

I have written a review before stating that I would recommend Emirates but I have since changed my mind. While the inflight service was good, and staff courteous I had trouble booking the complimentary limousine to Changi Airport in Singapore. Their office in Singapore was closed as it was a weekend and I had to make calls to Dubai at a much greater cost and this despite me having booked the service before fying out from London 2 weeks earlier. I ordered a main course on the leg from London to D ...- Read Guest's review (180 words)

Quite simply the worst airline I have ever flown with. Travelled with Emirates as they were highly recommended. Misplaced/lost luggage on both outbound and inbound flights (baby stroller) taking over 24 hours on both occasions to retrieve. Customer services in Dubai are hopeless and quote 'There was not enough time to transfer between flights in Dubai'. Apparently 4 hours and the SAME aircraft is not enough. Complained to staff and they found it funny and claimed it was not their problem. ...- Read Guest's review (94 words)

Emirates was a great experience. On the 777-300 on the LGW - DXB flights there were angled lie flat seats and huge screens and on the A340 - on last leg - the seats did not have the best privacy or recline for sleeping, but were still good. The service from all crew was exceptional, and they were happy to provide anything they could, even anticipating my needs. The lounges were very comfortable with BNE lounge the best - great views, it is light and spacious. The LGW lounge is roomy and comforta ...- Read Guest's review (132 words)

We are a family composed of 2 adults and 2 children.
First of all we were requesting to seat all together (next to each other).
We get following seats: 49J, 49K and 50J, 50K.
This seats of row 49 & 50 were not next to each other. They were one after the other. They were the last two rows in the aircraft (not shown in the seat overview of a Boing 777-300ER). This two rows were next to a WC- door specially row 50.
The next was, that the monitors and the entertainment system of the seats 49J & 49K w ...- Read Guest's review (219 words)

Emirates airline staff promised the safe carriage of my most beloved guitar. Upon landing, it was spat out of the conveyor belt practially in pieces. After a long wait and a massive telephone chain... they will not take responsibility for the instrument and I will receive no compensation. I was not the only person complaining on that day about such an incident. I have no love for this airline...- Read Guest's review (69 words)

Please train cabin staff to serve water atleast without hesitation and arrogance. We were travelling to Paris from Mumbai via Dubai ,and there were these Fiilipino staff who were very approachable from Mumbai to Dubai, then enter the european staff who have such great amount of attitude. We actually would wait for a Fillipino (there were 2 of the Phillipine staff on board) to serve or ask for anything,. Please Emirate kindly have enough water also on board as water is not allowed for security r ...- Read Guest's review (179 words)

Emirates is D most dispicable airline i have ever taken. I would advise anyone interested in using the services of Emirates to kindly consider using another airline instead. My husband and i had the awful experience during our journey from dubai to mumbai last week. The new promotion period that Emirates was offering is known as "journey to India" but what we experienced on their flight was a "journey to hell". The journey started with the cabin crew totally unprepared and running up and down th ...- Read segari76's review (505 words and 1 comment)

I have travelled from LAX to DXB and then to TRV yesterday. First time I flew in Emirates. For the last 9 years I flew in Singapore Airlines. I just wanted to try Emirates. Very very bad experience. Not just me. Whoever boarded from LAX, not happy with this Airline.
1. Very bad service. All the Air hostress need the basic training. They are very rude. They were fighting among themselves. Not a friendly atmosphere. Air hostress are eating all the time. They don't care about the passengers. (I ca ...- Read RAMUS29's review (182 words)

Cabin Appearance: Clean, extremely spacious so much so that you feel awkward! No amenity packs of any kind by the way for Business Class passengers even though it was an early morning flight and a measly Toothbrush would have helped.
Service at departure airport: Pathetic!!! Boarding was late with no exclusive arrangements for Business Class Passengers being informed about it or even given priority while boarding!!
Seats: Ok / Felt the Width of seat was disproportionate with the length.
Meals: D ...- Read DaQueen's review (249 words)

Worst experience with Emirates flying to India. Took the SFO-DXB-HYD Rroute with 2 kids - 5 yrs & 6 months. crew was RUDE on all legs. Was visibly irritated for any service request inclduing when asked for water for the baby's formula. I will never travel by this airline again.
The most annoying things was that the crew memberrefused to take my food tray on a number of occasional since I wasn't only their aisle of responsibility i.e I was sitiing on the left of the aricraft and if
