Bad Points: Found seats on older 777's a little uncomfortable...but look...if you are flying Economy for more than five hours...its always going to be uncomfortable no matter what airline.

General comments: I have loved Emirates each and every time I fly with them. Great service, amazing food, good in-flight entertainment.

Please train cabin staff to serve water atleast without hesitation and arrogance. We were travelling to Paris from Mumbai via Dubai ,and there were these Fiilipino staff who were very approachable from Mumbai to Dubai, then enter the european staff who have such great amount of attitude. We actually would wait for a Fillipino (there were 2 of the Phillipine staff on board) to serve or ask for anything,. Please Emirate kindly have enough water also on board as water is not allowed for security r ...

Emirates is D most dispicable airline i have ever taken. I would advise anyone interested in using the services of Emirates to kindly consider using another airline instead. My husband and i had the awful experience during our journey from dubai to mumbai last week. The new promotion period that Emirates was offering is known as "journey to India" but what we experienced on their flight was a "journey to hell". The journey started with the cabin crew totally unprepared and running up and down th ...

I have travelled from LAX to DXB and then to TRV yesterday. First time I flew in Emirates. For the last 9 years I flew in Singapore Airlines. I just wanted to try Emirates. Very very bad experience. Not just me. Whoever boarded from LAX, not happy with this Airline. 1. Very bad service. All the Air hostress need the basic training. They are very rude. They were fighting among themselves. Not a friendly atmosphere. Air hostress are eating all the time. They don't care about the passengers. (I ca ...

Cabin Appearance: Clean, extremely spacious so much so that you feel awkward! No amenity packs of any kind by the way for Business Class passengers even though it was an early morning flight and a measly Toothbrush would have helped. Service at departure airport: Pathetic!!! Boarding was late with no exclusive arrangements for Business Class Passengers being informed about it or even given priority while boarding!! Seats: Ok / Felt the Width of seat was disproportionate with the length. Meals: D ...

Worst experience with Emirates flying to India. Took the SFO-DXB-HYD Rroute with 2 kids - 5 yrs & 6 months. crew was RUDE on all legs. Was visibly irritated for any service request inclduing when asked for water for the baby's formula. I will never travel by this airline again. The most annoying things was that the crew memberrefused to take my food tray on a number of occasional since I wasn't only their aisle of responsibility i.e I was sitiing on the left of the aricraft and if I tried to ...

Emirates charged me for an extra ticket on my credit card without my knowledge. I call the airline back and it took 14 days to get my money back. When I called the airline the staff on the other line was so unhelpful and rude that she couldn't assist me and terminated the phone call. I have now contacted the customer affairs department who have not responded for at least 10 days. I have now decided enough is enough and will be cancelling the tickets and demanding a full refund. Poor airline, unp ...

Its the worst airline to travel with. the staff are so rude and arrogant . though I am a frequent traveler of Emirates airline because of skywards but I am only travelling with Emirates to earn more miles. it takes ages for staff to clear the trays after your meal. no matter how many times you press the attendant button nobody bothers to even look at you. on my very last journey from Dubai to toronto on 8th of May 2009 unluckily I again made the decision to travel by emirates and bear the attitu ...

Had a very bad experience with Emirates this Easter. Flew Emirates with 1yr old baby from Auckland to Sydney (3 hr flight). Full flight but staff can only been seen at take off, meal serve and landing (one fresh looking air hostess did response to requests on the departure flight). Availability of services is zero on the return flight. Seats were dirty on the return flight (patch of food scrap on seat). It would be fine if the whole experience is like a bus trip - u get on and then off, no ties w ...

I flew from Houston to Dubai on the new Emirates 777-200LR and was pleased with the quality of service and amenities onboard. ICE Digital Widescreen entertainment system, 10.6' PTV, 34 inch pith, amiable flight crew, great catering (very elaborate for economy class), hot towels, and frequent drink runs.

Emirates have mostly very well equipped planes, especially the 737ERs. So much potential - great planes, decent crew, but messing up on most important things - like being on time. Bad points are: 1. There's always a delay. You have a 50% chance of some sort of delay on any one flight. Double that if there's a connection via Dubai. 2. Lounges are packed in Dubai, you have to essentially wait for a seat during peak hours3. Delayed luggage. Happens far too frequently.4. Did I mention that flights ...

On an Emirates flight from Sydney to Dubai - 14hrs, full flight, only one toilet was available in economy, the other was full of their rubbish, midnight my daughter (8yrs old) who has never thrown up, threw up violently, apart from 1 hostess, no one even bothered to ask if my daughter was ok, let alone offer assistance, all I was after was some hot towels, when I finally received 2, asking what to do with used ones, I was completely ignored, as they were on break. For all the good things we hav ...

I flew with Emirates from London to Cape Town via Dubai. Emirates has a good reputation, but offers a poor service. Firstly, the seats on the plane are tiny and cut off the circulation in your legs. When you recline, the bottom of the seat rises and makes your legs dangle in the air. There are no footrests, so you lose feeling in your feets after just 20 minutes of sititng there. The seats are also incredibly narrow, and sitting in the middle of two men meant I had no armrests for my own. Sec ...

I think Emirates is a well respected airline with good quality service. I have been flying Emirates since 2006 an they have been excellent. As usual food is rubbish. Another problem with Emirates is being late. Manchester-Dubai, plane was in good condition, slightly late departure, good communication between between crew and passengers food has been slowly getting better.Dubai-Manchester. Check-in took a while because Dubai is the airline's base, security was slow due to a lot of passengers, dep ...

I flown on a multi-destination ticket with Emirates SYD-BKK, BKK-CDG, CDG-BKK, BKK-SYD. Unfortunately I ended up on the EK419 flight on the 25th of November from Sydney that was diverted to Kuala Lumpur when Bangkok Suvarnabhumi was closed down. They put me and the other passengers in at the Pan-Pacific hotel at KUL, which was a very nice five star hotel, with rooms and food paid for for the duration of our stay. The other airlines like KLM just left their passengers there. It was all nice and w ...

PLEASE READ THIS REVIEW... We were honestly shocked how over rated this airline is. When telling people at my work that I was flying with Emirates I've heard a lot of positive feedback. We have just arrived to Auckland after spending 30h on 3 flights (Glasgow-Dubai-Auckland). Seats - we have never seen anything like that before. When you recline your seat the front of the seat goes up - and it does go up a lot making your feet floating in the air (I'm 180cm tall). There is no foot rest or anythi ...

I flew from Houston to Dubai on 8th December and the seats were so uncomfortable I was praying that plane could stop somewhere so I can relax a little bit. There was not enough space between seats and their food was not like they advertise on their websites.I thought Emirates airline would be good but this experience was very unpleasant and I didn't enjoy it a bit during my whole journey.I think PIA airline which used to go from Houston, their customer service was much better than emirates. ...

We had the same problem, stuck in Bangkok, no word from anyone, they just let you suffer. Used almost 500 baht on calling their office. Even tried to call their office in Germany for help, just got the answer Bangkok office is responsible and phone number I already knew.Bangkok office weren't able to help at all. Every day new information. On our flight day just the information to be at the airport in due time, when I asked if the flight is confirmed, the lady on the phone said "yes", 5 minutes ...

My experience of Emirates when things go slightly wrong was very negative and then being totally abandoned at Bangkok when they made no attempt whatsoever to communicate with the 50 or so passengers in the transit area despite us calling their Bangkok office and the head office in Dubai. Staff completely failed to understand any order that existed in the chaos or how to work through it. Hopelessly inadequate for the task in hand.
