Though purchase the ticket with Premium Rate, tot satisfied, at all. Feel like wasted the money. Issue with Food: Specifically requested food with dietary requirement, however got compromised food, couple of times. I was on the EK26 from Glasgow to Dubai on the 30th March when at 8pm we were first advised that the flight was not boarding due to a echnical problem. At 11pm they had still not rectified the issue and we were then asked to collect our luggage and go to the hotel, we had to wait over an hour outside in sub freezing temperatures whilst we waited for taxi's. I changed from my normal airlines as Emirates were a vastly cheaper option to fly London-Dubai-Durban return with my wife and 15 month old. The cabin crew talk the talk about looking after you when boarding, but then lose all interest once in the air. First drinks 4 hours after takeoff, and after the meal too. Some of the reviews I saw here, seems a nonsense to me: just how much food do you people need? It was more than enough: appetizer, main dish, dessert, hot/cold drinks, alcohol drinks, more than other airlines companies offer, wet towels(not paper towels) before the meal. Ek026 21 January 2013 was to depart GLA at 20.45 hrs but I noticed at 09.00hrs that day on Glasgow Airport's website that departure would be at midnight. At 11.00hrs I received Emirates reminder text showing flight departs 20.45hrs and it suggested online check-in but this was not accepted. Airport check in was requested 3 hours prior to 20.45hrs. We travelled through Emirates from Seattle to Ahmedabad via Dubai in December 2012. My overall experience was awful. From heading through Seattle, it was pathetic from counter service itself. First of all, they didn't allow my laptop bag saying that it should be only 3 pounds and I told them, my laptop itself was of 5 pounds. I wonder if it is part of the requirements to join emirates to have bad manners and great experience in mastering horrible customer service? I am surprised that an extremely high percentage of the emirates staff have little or no manners at all. It must be a course they learn while living in dubai or requirement to join! Me and my family travel from Newcastle to Dubia to moment we got out of the plane we realise that we forgot our camera inside, and we ask some staff that we forgot the camera inside and told us to report it the the police or the lost and found time. We've had a similar experience on flight EK 434 from Dubai to Auckland we forgot our camera under my seat no 20b during transit in Brisbane for 1 hour. We were told we cannot go back in the plane but our $5000 cannon camera will be given back to us, it wasn't and we then were told to go to lost properly Auckland airport. We did so and filled out a form but with no response we phoned and emailed and were told its probably lost so to just claim
It! Nobody is helping and we have some important information in our camera bag too, please can somebody help it was on. 23 January 2013 we truly would appreciate some help to get it back..

“I should have booked with a real airline - bad me!”

Madrid to Bangkok via Dubai. First time flying this airline but will never fly them again. The ticket was a couple hundred dollars cheaper than that of a real airline - but beware, there is a reason! This airline has ZERO customer service. You pay nearly a grand for a ticket, but McDonalds has better customer service. Emirate's poor reputation for customer service is well deserved. Buy the way, did they bring the skytrex magazine and ask you to fill the review and opinion about best airline? That is what they usually do .. If you write emirates airline is the best airline then they submit your review otherwise they bin it .. Anyway if they intend to give you the magazine as a "gift" with a request to fill the form, then they are extra extra nice (for a reason) .

Travelled with my wife and two sons from Lahore to Tehran. The cabin attendant forgot to serve breakfast to my wife even after asking for it like three times. And once all other passengers were served and settling to take a nap she came with a tray. And then again disappeared and re appeared after 15 minutes. An overated airline with " absent customer service" how could an airline not have customer feedback mechanism. Their managment concentrates on making new terminals and buying new aircrafts however experience has to be created by the humans running these machines and buildings. Overall very low grade airline.

I agree...It's when these types of problems emerge that you find out whether an airline if first-rate or third-rate. This is where their customer service attitude comes into play.

I have found that at Emirates their staff have a "you've paid for the ticket already so you're at our mercy haha!" attitude. They simply don't care about how they treat you once you've bought the ticket.

I flew them once and will never fly them again.

We took EK-533 from COK to DXB and then the EK-225 from DXB to SFO last year. While COK-DXB wasnt an issue in itself, the flight departed quite late from COK which left us rushing through the DXB terminal to catch our connecting flight to SFO. We made it only with a few minutes to spare. Our seats were right at the back in the 2 -4 -2 configuration close to the rear toilets. “Terrible attitude - steward”

CGK-Dubai. First time flying with Emirates. I had a really unpleasant encounter with an Emirates steward (a middle eastern, I believe). He is extremely rude and foul, raising his voice at me and we would have broken out into a fight and attracted the whole flight’s attention had I not stepped away. So typical of Emirates. They don't realize that service comes down to how you treat each and every passenger. We're not just seat-fillers, we're paying customers. But that change of attitude will have to come from the top. And right now it doesn't seem to be. The top are too concerned about the bottom line while not realizing that poor customer service will in the end hurt their bottom line.

Emirates has been increasing their prices over the past couple of years to the point that they are now definitley overpriced. The staff on-board are usually quite decent and helpful but their partner staff at places like Glasgow Airport in Scotland are a very bad face for the airline. They have no cultural sensitivity and treat asians very badly. They forget who is paying their wages. Emirates Skywards program is now also useless. I just completed my trip from DFW-DXB-KHI and return. It was worst flying experience by far. Only meal and entertainment was normal. Airline staff at airport and on board was horrible. They made severeral blunders throughout. At the end of my trip when I complain via e mail, they simply refuse to take ant blame. There isn't much point in Emirates spending so much on promotion and advertising if they haven't got a working website. So many times when I have used the website it doesn't work and tells me just to call the call centre. I have alerted Emirates to the problems that are happening and they have not responded. “Lousiest customer service ever! ”

Their website does not allow me to change my ticket and when i call the customer care they took more than an hour just to prepone my ticket. Even in that one hour that guy seems to be clueless about managing the booking. He tried charging me exorbitant price when i asked him about why it is so high compared to the one given on website he again changed and after charging on my card he again says that he forgot to charge new tax and when again i again asked him to verify that he took another... “SHOCKING”

I was on board EK 503 bound to Dubai on the 18/03/2012 , if this mail is read by EK management i would like to request you to please take this as a early step to prevent later losses. Emirates was well known to be worlds best airline and i loved travelling, however with my last two visits i experienced that EK is become overconfident and do not care .
