    Good Points: Absolutely nothing


    Bad Points: Food and staff


    General comments: Absolutely disgusting food at The Lighthouse!dont be fooled by good reviews. Food was old and seemed to have been re heated before serving-hence the reason it arrived in about 5min!extremely over priced for poor quality. Waiting staff very unhelpful. Take a walk into Bowness for quality restaurants. Honest review of shocking food!

    The Food was excellent and the lady who waited on our table was great. She had a great smile and was so willing to help us in our choice from the menu. Nothing was too much for her. The food was great and we had a great time. W again!ill definately go back to the The Lighthouse, Windermere

    We have visited the Lighthouse a couple of times now and have never been disappointed. A great place to eat!

    Could not have had a more different experience! Although we went during half term and it was very busy, the staff accommodated us quickly, and i enjoyed a lovely glass of mulled wine. Went back for dinner without the kids (!) and the atmosphere was lovely. Beautiful place, lots of stairs!

    At The Lighthouse we waited 10 minutes for our table to be cleared of dirty dishes, nobody spoke to us at all. The table was not wiped, we then waited another 5 minutes, still nobody spoke to us, so we decided to leave. We then went and told a manager why we were leaving and he said that they were very busy. Will not be going again.
