Good Points: Easy to use and thorough

Bad Points: Can be slow (depending on connection speed)

General comments: The Insure Supermarket website is a fantastic starting point for anyone searching for insurance of any kind, and it has links to sections for finance and travel searches.

I am frequently approached to find insurance for friends and family who would usually find it difficult to find cover, and I always start my search at Money Supermarket. It is worth mentioning that I have sourced cover for old and young alike, no matter what their driving history.

The Insure Supermarket website prices are not accurate, because when you go through to the insurer's website they change, or they are based on an enormously high excess which you haven't asked for.

Lots of my details were assumed when going from one site to the next, as entries were made for questions I wasn't asked on the Insure Supermarket site, and the system breaks constantly. What a waste of time.

The Insuresupermarket company are an online quote service, part of the Moneysupermarket group.

They specialise in finding cheap quotes for just about any type of insurance. All you have to do is type in your details and follow the instructions on screen. It's simple, fast and it doesn't cost a thing. In no more than 5 minutes I'd been provided with a quote for car insurance which beat mine by over £80!

It doesn't provide the insurance, just a range of quotes for you to choose from, b ...
