    Good Points: Fast, rides good, tires are good for mostly on road also good traction in trails, leather seat/saddle, nice handlebars


    Bad Points: Seat is a bit stiff (but i think it is made for more competiotion mountain biking), probably is gonna need a tune up after hard riding on the gears


    General comments: The 2008 Trek 4300 has done excellent for me since i bought it 9,9,2007!!! great bike for the money (excellent price) i would definately not spend the extra $100$ or so on the 4500 (so not worth it) after test driving it. best bike i could have asked for for now, gettig my license soon but will try to ride it on the trails as much as i can.

    Its a fairly tough good all around bike. Good for first mountain bike. Some parts that should be upgraded are the casette, crank, pedals, fork, and definitely tires. I put Bontrager Jones AC's on and it they lasted a while. For me that's saying a lot. I know i said more bad than good but i rode the hell out of it its definitely worth the money.
