    Good Points: Brilliant story line.
    Awsome soundtrack.

Bad Points: The PS2 graphics let it down.

General comments: Mafia, in my view is just as good as any of the 'Grand Theft Auto' series, it puts you into the life of a mixed up mafia gangster who is caught up in a huge gang war.
The first time I ever played 'Mafia' I was on a PC. The graphics where amazing, the cut scenes where dramatic and the gameplay was perfect,I was hooked on Mafia so I decided to buy it for my PS2.
I was very disappointed with the graphics, they seemed slightly square, the cut scenes where just as good on the PS2 as they where on the PC and the gamplay was OK.
One of the most annoying things about playing Mafia was this; whenever you get to a certain place in the city i.e. a bridge to the next island, the game takes about 5 mins to load and is very frustrating if you are chasing someone or being chased.
The GTA series can be called realistic, but Mafia is to realistic. Eg. you can be killed after about 7 shots to any part of the body and if you crash in a car it depletes your health.
The only thing that made the game worthwhile was the storyline, and the ending. The ending was brilliant but I won't spoil it for you.
If you want Mafia, then get it on PC because on PC it is easily better than any of the GTA games, however on the PS2, it is not so spectacular.

It's a hard one to comment on because there are bits I love about this game and then bits I hate. I originally played this on the PC and thought it had potential, then played it on the PS2 and basically thought the same. I love the idea of playing a 1930's gangster the fine linen suits not showing a crease despite concealing a Tommy gun is very bad boy cool, but then you get in a car and soon realise it's quicker to catch a bus I know cars weren't fast in those days but I'm playing the game the ...
