The ponies are very good to ride but i thought the stables were horrible and the yard was dirty. Good although very messy yard.

Great riding school. Very friendly and accommodating. The staff have a very good relationship with the horses which are all lovely.

The price for a half hour lesson is not cheap so you expect to get the full 30 minutes! Also, it seems that the owner thinks that as she has been there so long and has built a reputation she no longer needs to be pleasant with her customers. It is a lovely riding school but there is a lack of respect!

A great centre with gorgeous ponies, I would definately recommend it to anyone looking for further riding experience or just wanting to start out. There's never a dull moment and the horses are impeccably behaved and well schooled.Staff are easy to get on with and i fell like I've been riding there much longer than the year I've have been doing so.Without a doubt my favourite place to ride!

Dont go there. Nothing at all. Many horses were unhealthy and there were lots of droppings on the yard. I fell off one pony and the staff werent as helpful as at the farm i usually go to.

I've been riding at Matchmoor for a few years now and have ridden quite a few of the horses and they are all different, they are not just "plods". I have my favourites but, hey, who doesn't! Hacking out is great whatever the weather. I'd recommend it!

They put you on horses that you like if you have been there before. They also put you on the size of horse you want. Also if you are a learner they put you on a experienced horse that won't just run off. The staff are fully qualified. They are lovely. Matchmoor Riding Centre, Bolton is a great riding school where you can confident in the ability of the staff and satisfied that the horses are all well looked after and safe to ride.
