Good Points: Fantastic place to stay, especially if you want a good live music Irish evening.
Superb accommodation.

Bad Points: As our bedroom overlooked the street, kicking out time was extremely noisy as were the local kids who were still roaming the streets at 3.30am!

General comments: Four of us recently stayed at the Fidders Green whilst we were in Northern Ireland. The pub was lovely, just what we wanted, full of local characters, olde worlde charm and extremely pleasant and helpful staff.

Our rooms were gorgeous, newly decorated and very tasteful - my Mum and her partner actually got the honeymoon suite which was beautiful with a four poster bed and an enormous bathroom.

That evening we ate at the local sailing club, which on first view was not great but the food was excellent and very reasonable. We then returned to the pub and enjoyed a live music evening with a mixture of music. We had a great time.

The only thing that was a problem was the screaming kids and others roaming about the streets until 3.30am, which was right outside our bedroom window and our room was also right above the bar, so if you had wanted an early night, you would not have been able to sleep. If staying here again, I would ask for a room at the back of the pub, to avoid the noise.

Other than that, we had a great stay, and will certainly be returning to the Fiddlers Green in the near future. Highly recommended.
