Good Points: Typically a beautiful BMW drive. I should know. This is my 5th BMW, but first AWD. Their response and handling is perfect.
Bad Points: Guzzles gas in the city like there is no tomorrow. On previous BMWs I could get approximately 500 - 700 Kms per tank full. With the 530xi, City is 300 Kms but Hwy is excellent at 650 kms.
General comments: If you are a BMW fan at all, the 530 is the car for you if you live in a snowy climate. All the benefits and performance of a luxury car but the reliability and handling under treacherous winter conditions. You obviously aren't going to take this off roading, but for adverse winter driving conditions, it's perfect.
