    Good Points: Super outfitting, great stiff plastic, speed....


    Bad Points: Takes time really understand how to roll, you technique has to be almost perfect at times.


    General comments: I paddle both the Drago Rossi Squashtail and Thruster and you do not know what you are talking about.

    You cannot find a more comfortable and performance driven boat than these two.

    Paddled both in class IV and big surf.
    Still the original outfitting and I do paddle many,,many days per year.

    You NEED to learn how to paddle all over again...then it is worth it.

    Drago Rossi Squashtail - This kayak is a great deisign if you only want to surf kayak in the sea on waves upto 6 foot, they are no good on rivers or play holes. They come with no instructions of how to set them up and are poorly made for the price. They don't come with any floatation aids and will sink if you swim. They also struggle on flatter waves.

    The mega hype from the manufactures and importers doesn't transfer to the product and in my opinon they aren't worth the price asked.
