Good Points: Strong lead characters. You may not like them all, but you get attached to them, none the less.
Bad Points: Where is the sequel?
General comments: The Last Mortal Man is absolutely thought provoking. Rarely do I read a book that I keep thinking about, on and off, for years after reading it. The last mortal man keeps me thinking.
