I emailed Interparcel out of office hours to point out my mistake I received a quick response that evening from an advisor who reorganised the collection the following day no drama no fuss. I used interparcel to send some very important equipment to Scotland. It was was vitally important that it arrived Monday and I even called up to double check this. The parcel was collected no problem however the next day when I tracked the parcel it said it arrived in Glasgow. The nest time I checked it (Friday) said delivery failed. Filled all my details in - received a confirmation email saying the parcel would be collected from my work the following day. However, the following day nobody came, nor the day after. I have foolishly used Interparcel numerous times, because they are cheap. Five out of the 6 parcels I have booked though them have had to be cancelled for one reason or another; either the courier didn't turn up, or the courier turned up outside of the agreed hours, or when I got to the parcel depot to drop off the parcel for delivery, the 3rd party delivery service had no record of my booking, so it cost me three times more to book it in and send right there and then. I didn't give it 5 stars because we had a couple of issues with 2 deliveries and was in touch with their customer service which weren't very friendly and i didn't feel helped. Hi, I have been using them 5 times and 2 times they did not collect on the day. The second time the parcel had to be with the receiver on the following day and I had no choice but to travel 3 hours to reach courier's depot outside London late at night to deliver the parcel my self. I have used Interparcel now since 2010 and during that time i have had no problems with them. their prices are very competitive and most times cheaper than the competition , i can book a collection at any time during the day or night on my computer. the booking system is so easy to do all you need is your computer and most times a printer to print the package labels. i cannot recommend them highly enough. Don't ever use this company if you are sending unaccompanied baggage to New Zealand!! I landed with a huge bill for 'importing' my own clothes that I sent ahead of myself. No information given about the possibility of this or how to avoid ending up paying three times for your own clothes. Once to buy them, 2nd time when paying to send them and third time in import customs duty. This delivery was the 3rd or 4th Interparcel delivery I have had a problem with. It was not collected when arranged and not collected on the second arranged time either. It was collected when Interparcel were told the senders office was closed, luckily a cleaner was there. The 48 hour service I paid for turned out to be 13 days. All the tracking shows is that the receiver refused the parcel but the receiver claims it was stopped at customs. Whichever, I guess I will never know. I was expecting what almost every delivery service does these days: a text, an email, a call.. something to give a rough indication of pick up time. Then transferred rapidly within two days to South America only to meet shorter delays at that end before clearing customs.
