    I purchased my dress from Annette Carey for my wedding in Dec 08. I cannot speak highly enough of Annette. From the moment I walked into to the shop to collecting my dress the service was faultless. When looking for my dress I visited over 10 bridal shops & can honestly say that Annette has an amazing and varied selection of the most beautiful dresses. Annette is amazingly helpful, friendly & knowledgeable, giving me loads of handy wedding hints. I would recommend Annette to anyone.

    My Wedding Dress experience with Annette Carey was excellent, as a new bride I did not have much to go on but found my whole experience like a fairy tale. During my fittings no-one else was allowed into the shop unlike other places I had visited and my fittings were always arranged around the times I could make it as I had to travel from Stevenage.     Annette Carey made me the most beautiful wedding gown along with four adorable bridesmaids dresses this summer. My family and friends said I looked beautiful and I felt beautiful. Annette put me at ease and made each appointment fun and relaxed. My bridesmaids felt like little princesses and wear their dresses at every opportunity-I wish I was eight years old and could do the same!     I had my bridal gown made by Annette Carey Couture this summer & loved every moment of the experience, Annette was fantastic throughout all of my fittings and gave me lots of great wedding advice. The dress was absolutely beautiful, I wish I could wear it every day. We had a wonderful wedding day, where so many of my friends and family complimented me on my dress. I felt like a princess. I would recommend Annette to anyone.

    My friend had a similar experience at Annette Carey. I was a bridesmaid and went along to several fittings. My friend became increasingly frustrated that Annette could not make the dress fit. She wore it in the end, but in some of the photos you can see that her dress was far too wide around the bust, too tight in the waist. Shame when a dressmaker is so careless. I am now getting married myself, and will definitely aboid Annette like the plague.

    I had a terrible experience with Annette Carey. She never did the agreed work before a fitting, and then lied to us about having done it. From the first fitting, Annette stopped being the sweet self that she presents to potential customers who are yet undecided, and was unfriendly and rude all the way through. After five fittings taking an hour each, the dress still did not fit at all, and she agreed that she would have to rip it apart and start afresh. That was 6 weeks before the wedding. It ne ...

    I would have to agree. Annette Carey Couture made my wedding dress and the whole experience was magical! It was worth every penny; you get a very special service and a beautiful and unique dress at the end of it.

    Annette Carey Couture made a superb wedding dress for my daughter; it was exactly what she wanted, beautifully made, expertly cut and fitted her superbly. I can't recommend them highly enough, especially to anyone who wants something unique and individual amongst a sea of meringues!
