My Chemical Romance I Brought You My Bullets, You Brought Me Your Love - I, like many other people, became hooked on MCR when I heard 'I'm Not Okay' and 'Helena' (Hits from MCR's second album 'Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge') and soon after fell in love with the album that held them ('Three Cheers...'). But I honestly don't think you can call yourself a true MCR fan until you've listened to their first masterpiece 'I brought you my bullets, you brought me your love'.
Not for the light hearted (there are some pretty gruesome lyrics) but well worth it. The songs that stood out most to me were 'Honey, this mirror isn't big enough for the two of us', 'Vampires will never hurt you', and 'Demolition Lovers', each of which, had MCR tattooed and branded all over them. The flare that caught people with 'I'm Not Okay' and 'Thank you for the venom' shines through with all of these tracks.
So I honestly encourage you to embrace this album, screaming and all because it's well worth the money and will fit in perfect with your punk collection.
