    Good Points: Lovely colour. Went on well. Better designed brush.


    Bad Points: Does not do nearly half of what it claims to.


    General comments: Bought this Rimmel Lycra Hard Wearing due to claim that it lasts up to ten days as varnishes I've used in the past all flake after a couple of days. Applied this at 11.30pm and by lunchtime the next day, the varnish on the ends of eight of my fingernails had started to flake off. Today (Monday) I've had to completely remove it as my nails looked a state. I haven't been bungee jumping, bare back riding or on an assault course. Just the usual girly things like washing hair, washing up, reading magazines. How can I get this product to do what it says? Avoid water maybe??

    i liked the Rimmel Lycra Hard Wearing colour and wanted to wear the colour for a girly night out. as a busy mum i did my nails the night before and in the morning the nail varnish had already chipped thought it was the way i had applied it so gave it a second chance same thing waste of money. my cheap market nail varnish lasted longer!!!

    I bought a bottle of the new Rimmel lycra Hard Wearing pro professional finish polish yesterday, in black pearl. I was quite impressed with the new wider brush as it did make application really easy, it went on really easy and smoothly and dried quite quickly even with two coats. However the claim that it will last up to 10 days is utter garbage, I only put it on at 8pm last night and not even 24 hours later i have numerous chips and it is already looking scruffy.     Just bought a bottle of this nailpolish, and thought it was terrible! It didn't brush on evenly at all, and it was goopy. The only good thing about it was the price. I will never buy this brand again.

    Nearly all the nail polishes i own are Rimmel i find this one especially good as it's the one i choose to wear throughout the week.

    Disappointing because the "up to 10 days" promise is not true at all. I wouldn't mind if it was half true and the nail polish stayed on for 5 days, but wear for one day is a bit extreme. Rimmel Lycra Hard Wearing nail polish is a complete waste of money.

    Rimmels Lycra hard-wearing nail polish definitely stays on. I use the one in French rose and it stays shiny and healthy for about 5days. Easy to apply. The only downside is its nasty smell, but I will forgive that.
