cd dvd play slow memory usgage poor distribution causing slow downs dont pay more than £150.

General comments: Light and now a good price, but as far as I am concerned this is old technology the general layout is now in newer models

    Good value for money.
No problems after 2 years, running Office, Dreamweaver & Photoshop. It is a secondary machine though, therefore I well recommend Acer Aspire 1650.

Battery life poor. Not good unless plugged in. Poor adapter connection as far as I am concerned. Very bad service from Acer in my opinion which is the reason I do not recommend this aspire 1650 laptop. All in all, not a good buy. Possible faulty laptop from the start but poor service from Comet and Acer. I wouldn't recommend this make of laptop.

Cheap for me!But then again its an acer, in my experience they just go wrong and break. In my opinon because this is a cheap design even the build quality is poor as far as I am concerned therefore I do not recommend the aspire 1650 laptop.

I bought the Acer Aspire 1650 laptop to use at home and when I go abroad.
It can run all the programmes I use such as I-tunes, MSN, Word-processor and use the internet, at the same time with no difference in speed.
The touch pad is very easy to use though I have bought a mouse which was installed successfully and without flaw.
