I lunched there recently and could only describe the experience as excellent.
Intimate, with crisp white tablecloths, sparkling glasses and cutlery. The two course menu is priced economically at under a tenner and, more importantly each course is generous but if you would like extra items these are a little more.
The menu is varied and interesting. The food arrived on time and was elegantly served. The plates were warm and hot as appropriate and finally the food -- I can only repeat --...

A restaurant of wonderful ambiance. The four of us booked a table for a quiet Monday evening meal and we received a very friendly greeting when we arrived. The menu presented was extensive and we had no difficulty in finding choices we found appealing. The chefs also offered additional choices not on the menu.
We enjoyed the three courses long with a very good bottle of wine. At the end of a pleasant evening at The Four Season all of us agreed we would not hesitate to return again.

I Have to say i'm a little surprised at some of the comments with regards to this restaurant. I have been going to the Four Season Restaurant for a little over 27yrs and the reason i frequent it is not only because of the atmosphere but the service and excellent cuisine they offer. I have found Angel Marques and before him his father Pepe to be Hosts of the highest quality, hence my continual visits.
As with anything in life there will be occassions when expectations are not met but this...

Visited this restaurant on a Sunday lunchtime. Our group were the only people in the restaurant and based on the food I received I can understand why! My starter was ok but would you really put the end circle of tomatoe on a advocado starter - I don't even put them in my children's sandwiches. On to the main course which was without doubt the most dismal of sunday lunches I've ever been presented with. Roast potatoes were the frozen variety (even Aunt Bessies would have been an... My husband and I returned to this restaurant on our 6th wedding anniversary having not visited for over 5years. We were met with dull, dingy, tired looking interior that have not changed in all that time. There were only two staff attending to at least 10/12 tables which lead to lengthy delays in attending to our needs. Our table was not ready with cutlery, glasses or napkins when invited to sit down. We had already chosen from the menu in the small bar area so this surprised us. The... (read more)

First visit. Very unfriendly and intimidating staff, very slow service (waited 45 minutes for dessert). There were 4 in our party. Starters:- Whitebait was overcooked and dry, the pasta in the pasta parcels was thick and stodgy, the filling of salmon & asparagus was tasteless and the lemon sauce was overpoweringly lemony - tasted like an experiment gone wrong! Main:- Pork was overcooked and tough, one of our party of four had the pasta parcels as a main (wrong decision). The vinnison was... (read more)

I dined here with my wife and my brother and sister-in-law after driving through Chobham and seeing their special 40th anniversary offer of a 3 course evening meal for £14.95, I thought I was seeing things and drove back to look again.
I had not been to this restaurant for over 20 years and remembered being excellent so was more than willing to book a table and look forward to the event.
I wish I had not bothered ever going back, it was absolute rubbish and the prices sky-rocketed as soon as...

We were really disappointed with our meal at The Four Seasons Restaurant on 14th March 09
Have been there quite a few times over the last 25yrs ,not been for around 5yrs so looking forward to a nice meal.
Our main meals very poor, meat tasteless and some burnt.
Vegetables were charged separately and did not appear to me to be freshly cooked as they were very soggy.
Would not go there again .

Staff and service was good at The Four Seasons Restaurant, Chobham. Starters were okay. Very disappointed in our meal on Saturday 14th March. Have been to 4seasons many times over the last 25 years.Have not been for about 5 years and really looking forward to it.
The food was very poor not up to what we remembered.
Very expensive for what we received and to add 12.1/2 % service charge was a cheek.
Will probably not go back.
Main courses were poor.Food very bland and some were...

We complained about the bill at The Four Seasons Restaurant which we thought was extremely overpriced and the waiters took our plates away as soon as each party put their fork down and appeared to be hovering. It seemed impatient to us as if they were waiting for us to go. The whole service and food were sub standard when we came to pay I see that a 12/5 % service charge was added, on complaining we feel we were treated rudely, all this for going out to lunch in sleepy old Chobham needless... I thought the service was poor, the waiters appeared to stand in a line foot-tapping and waiting for us to leave when we were only half way though our last course and coffee. If the service had been quicker we might have finished earlier. I felt the food was moderate and highly overpriced. I agree with the earlier review that the manadatory tip even though we complained was the final straw and my experience was a year before his. I would not recommend this restaurant. I only found his... (read more)

Walking around Chobham you could be forgiven for hardly thinking it was a bustling metropolis. Quaint might be a word you'd use to describe the village. But if you're not local, a visit to the Four Seasons will see you never set foot in Chobham again.
My girlfriend and I drove through the village on the way to Ascot and decided to have a bite to eat. First rejecting Greek and Italian, we settled on a Brubeckers, but that was full. So it was back to roaming the streets when a hallowed vision...

I definitely recommend saving some room for the crepe suzette or the lemon tart to round off the meal. Really enjoyed our bottle of Chateau Lyonnat and would recommend diners choose the same. (read more)

Impressive cuisine and menu with lovely touchs that add that something special. We had a divine dinner with some lovely wines.
Only slight weakness was the demeanour of the waiting staff, who seemed just a little bit aloof. I wouldn't describe it as condescending, but I was left with the feeling that without a jacket and tie they were unimpressed with my dress standard.
I would go back (appropriately attired) as it really was brilliant food and very nice setting, but will need to save up...
