    Good Points: Awesome user interface backed up by good build and quality


    Bad Points: A bit of noise in images


    General comments: Day 1
    Camera received and the first painful expression is reserved for a 32 MB SD memory card. It is a lot better than some manufacturers though as 16 MB still seems the order of the day (shame on those).

    Macro mode is incredible and, to be fair, image noise does decrease provided there is enough light and most of the images I took today would tax a 400 ASA/ISO negative film. The fact that the camera performed so well in so poor conditions is a good reflection on the development team that has strived to balance hardware workings with operational systems cohesion in a pleasant user interface.

    Focus is mystical in operation. It seems to flow as a wave down, through and over the view finder. Manual focus is equally fantastic and allows you to focus off centre (yes! I'll repeat that: manual focus off centre!) .

    The controls are great and over all balance is excellent.
