Good Points: Great, great coffee.Steamer works well, so great lattes as well. Very adjustable. Timer turns machine on (for me at 6 am and turns off at 9 am) so no waiting for warm up.
Bad Points: Developed a leak and the coffee was no longer piping hot.
General comments: I had a similar leak problem after 9 or so months. The solution is simple if you are a little bit handy. There is a bad valve inside. I called Whole Latte Love where I bought the machine and ordered a Steam Valve complete - Compact Frame. Its part number GA-%0345.R and two O-Ringsthe valve that comes with the machine is plastic and the new one is a brushed metal casing. My guess, it will last for 10 years! Two screws on the back and the machine is openNear the front, by the steam wand, with a hose attached coming from the heater, is the valve, attached to the knob on the side. Two more screws and the valve wrapped in a plastic housing comes out.Open the plastic housing, remove the insulated hose to the steam wand and the water/steam plastic hose that comes in. Replace the valve, hook up the two hoses, put back in housing and you're done. Attach back to knob on the outside, put back together and in 30 minutes, the Gaggia Titanium is like new. No leaks. It sounds daunting but is pretty easy and beats sending the machine back for repair. I can't go a morning let alone a month without coffee from my Gaggia. Once repaired, the coffee is hotter too.

Gaggia Customer service is non-existent. I sent my Gaggia Titanium for service (£108), and I rang them when I had heard nothing for almost three weeks. The response was like the joke about a pair of shoes that had been with the cobbler for ten years. "It'll be ready next Thursday".
There are better and more reliable machines on the market.

Six months ago, I bought the Gaggia Titanium machine from my local Fenwick store.
It cost me £600 and proved to be the worst purchase I have ever made.
When I first set up the machine, it made exactly 3 cups of coffee before a 'ventilate' message appeared in the LCD display and the machine stopped working completely. I phoned the Gaggia Helpline for advice. They told me to descale it, even though it was brand-new! Then they said they didn't actually know what was wrong with it and ...

I have owned my Gaggia for over three years now. Actually, this is not entirely true; I had my first one replaced within 30 days as the power supply failed (not sure about this but it did trip out my fuse box when switching on so something definitely was very wrong with it). The second lasted just over two years but was returned for repairs about four or five times. It was finally replaced under the extended warranty I took out and I have now had my third one for around four months. So far s ...

The Gaggia Titanium machine made great coffee for three months and then broke down. We had to pay £50 for it to be collected because we had bought it on the internet. Gaggia returned it and the machine wortked for a couple of months then broke down again. We have owned it for two years, it has been back to Gaggia five times and we have had less than 1000 coffees from the machine. We are now looking for another coffee machine and we wont be buying from Gaggia again.

I have owned my Gaggia titanium for about 14 months & was initially quite pleased with until it went wrong, then I found I had committed a mortal sin (as far as Gaggia UK was concerned) by purchasing it online from a company called Italy Outlet, who offered the machine, several hundred pounds cheaper than most UK stockists & offered it with a 2 year international warranty, when my machine broke down the first time the response from Gaggia UK was nothing short of hostile because it was purchased ...

Gaggia Titanium a great looking machine that produces fine expressos and cappucino coffee, with a on board water tank and grinder. After looking around I settled for this Gaggia model it's the top of the range auto machine. I read some negative reviews on the web about leaks but decided to take the risk.
Initial impressions were mixed, the coffees tasted superb easily as good as Costa & Starbucks after a little practice, but although the outer casing is stainless steel most of the inner worki ...
