This marketplace site tried to get in with the 'big boys' such as eBay and Amazon but are way out their league. Plagued by dishonest sellers, the administrators have no idea how to 'administrate', which brings the entire site down more than several pegs. In honor of spring cleaning I opened the account to sell a bunch of the items in my house. The first item that I listed was my iPad 2 with all of its accessories. The next day when I went to sign on to add some of my old college text books there was a note saying that my account was suspended and I should refer to the terms of service. Do not buy from this website. There is no customer service, communication or product tracking. I knew the price of the Obagi product was too good to be true. Everytimei tried to contact the support link, I received an email to leave a note on the invoice. I did as directed and never heard from the seller. What people like you are is ..... BluJay is a market place that has sellers. BluJay is a platform like any other service out there. BluJay had nothing to do with the transaction. Your problem is witht eh seller period. If you didnt get the item then take it up with the seller and the payment service. BluJay is a free service, do you really think they got an entire building dedicated to help xxx like you.
You dont even know how to file a dispute with PayPal to begin with thinking the item number was for blujay, thats for eBay dummie!

I have sold Blujay for at least five years after EBay started changing their policies and raising their fees. A few years ago customer reviews have begun on Blujay. Unfortunately sales are slow on this website, but it’s been slow on most sites. I would say like any online store ask questions first and more pictures if you need or like. I have been on ebay (feebay) for about 14 years. My feedback is 1800 + no negs and almost 2300 total feedbacks. Their latest gouge taking 9% + paypal on the shipping has caused me to avoid and or do business by going around them. I try to hook up some of my auctions by using Blujay as a leader. Seller cashed my check, and only after I inquired about its' status, she then told me that she wasn't able to locate the item. I have been attempting for over two weeks to get a refund. Blujay offers no customer service and there is no system to keep the sellers motivated to provide honest and quality service to the customer. Why didn't you go through pay pal or Google Checkout. Did you save the email notices of payment due or the cancel check where they cashed it? Simple business practices to protect you then go to Better Business web site and turn them in. The feedback system was the seller after you placed the order. Their information is posted on their store.

Blujay never said they were ebay or OverStock they claim to be a free site that you can build a store front and sell your merchandise. The seller is notified when a customer chooses an item from your store. Then the seller goes to work communicating with the buyer. Goods(some new) (some used) you will see that in the write up posted. As a buyer you should ask questions and follow up checking if the seller has a good record. I find the buyers place items in cart and don't follow up with payment. No payment, no merchandise!! I agree blujay could be a great site, charge fees and have all the pay-for items the others have; You would still find fault.

If you are a seller then protect your self with backup paper work for the Better Business Bureau. A seller can not be to careful & a buyer should ask the questions. I agree with you! I have been selling on Ebay and once you make any profit you end up paying it in fees..I'm so sick of Ebay fees it disappointed me a couple of times. I just set up an account on Blujay and I'm even offering better prices because of the 'feeless' listing and I can add more pictures without having to pay on each one. bye bye Ebay....

I'm a blujay.com seller and I love the low seller fees! I've happily conducted over 500 transcations to 500 satisfied customers. I don't know what that other hater is yakkin' about. I've been scammed on eBay just the same as on any other site. Payment is conducted through PayPal (you do not input your CC# directly as the other Guest says), so you also have the backing of PayPal's Buyer Protection Program.

I bought a book from Kapenakuke on Blujay.com, paid for it through Google Checkout and am completely satisfied with the whole transaction.
I like it so much better than Amazon, eBay, half.com and other sites where your email goes through a third party before it gets to the seller. On Blujay.com you deal directly with the seller. Questions are answered quickly and my one experience was totally GREAT!
You can also use PayPal on Blujay, but I'm not a fan. I have had nothing but success...

None of my items show up on Google in web search or in shopping search. I know it's free ; but free to me is if your getting something for nothing. I disagree with this review because...1. The alleged seller is not identified. ... 2. As a Paypal user, it should be commonly known that a buyer simply has to file a complaint with Paypal and Paypal will moderate a solution to a buyer's complaint. I beleive the review is unfair to Blujay and its' many sellers because it is an unverified accusation.

I disagree with this review because...when purchasing anything online you should make an effort to pay in a manner where you have some recourse if something goes wrong. Most sites do not afford you any protection. However PayPal and Google do. Not the sites fault.

The owners have not yet responded to my queries. The customer service email has been unhelpful.

The site is FEE free, easy to list items, navigation is a breeze, and the community is full of many helpful members. Sign up is quick and you are not asked for any personal financial information. I bought an item from what I thought was a seller's store. The store specialized in electronics and had over 100 items for sale. It was priced identically to amazon, however amazon was backordered. There was a buy it now option via paypal and I bought the item for $300. Long story short I never received the item and not yet got my money back. (read more)

When making a purchase from any on line service you should always protect yourself by using Paypal or the likes which provide you buyer protection, or use a credit card which also provides this protection.

The best things are the friendly community forums and the willing eager members that help all newcomers and buyers with any problems. This site is easy to list, sell and buy on. The navigation is very easy and convienent and the merchandise is priced to sell.
This has got to be the friendlest site I have ever sold and been on.The sellers give the buyers fast and friendly service and so do I at Melvin store.
