I have no idea why the thumb is pointing down.
I went for the Business Shared Hosting on Linux.
I had some initial problems (due to my own inadequacy) but the level of support is phenominal.
I can't speak too highly of their service, prices and facilities.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to all my colleagues and friends.
There seems to be a real genuine desire to help - all of my difficulties were of my own making but they were patient and courteous throughout. In all, I dealt with 4 employees and all their instructions were clear, concise and understandable.
As far as I'm concerned, I wish http://www.ukhost4u.com/ every success for the future.

Well, I've only been with UK Host4U for a week, but already I'm impressed.

Their Support dept always reply to my emails within 20 minutes, and nearly always with a resolution with their first email or with proper advice for me.

My last ISP was shocking. taking a day to even respond, then rarely fixing it first time.
I really like all the 'extras' too. theres plenty of application support should you require PHP, ASP etc.

Only downside so far is that the 2 webmail clients provided are pretty b ...

To date (since Jan 2009) I have had very positive experience with UKHost4U (especially compared to my previous host). From day one they were very helpful with my domain name transfer from my previous host. I recently had a query about my invoicing (I was being charged too much) and that was resolved within a few hours. I've also posted technical support questions and had them answered promptly.

UKHost4u are cowboys. Don't touch them with a bargepole! I paid for a full-featured Windows business website and after endless software failures I am left with no website and no refund!

They have always been promt to reply to support tickets and have always helped me/changed server setting promtly

After intitial contact last week over an issue with some server issues, mycalls to support have multiplied in the last 24 hours.The multiplication of e-mails was due to some sage advice and issuespurchasing a new domain name.At the end of the day all the respondents to my queries have been prompt, helpful and polite. In the few years I've had an account with UK Host 4U I have never seen a reason to leave and do attempt to encourage new customers whenever I can.

I have just moved over my reseller account to ukhost4u, and whilst I was waiting for my account to open I also found this website and to tell you the truth based on some of the review I was very worried I had made the wrong choice. However I am very pleased to say I was wrong, ukhost4u have been outstanding in helping me get my website up and runing and the ticket support system works very well. No canned responces like I have had before but emails from a real person!

I would just like to say that UKHost4u has been very helpful and efficient today in advising me how to go about redirecting our new learning platform to our existing domain. The changeover has taken place without any problems and so quickly too after initial confusion caused by Uniservity.I would like to say a big thank you to him for all his help.

I have never experienced such bad customer service ever, they simply didn't want to know. Even though I transferred my web site and domain to another (just as cheap and more reliable with good customer service) hosting company they continue to try to take payments! Not recommended. If only I'd found this website first.

They try to be helpful. The guy I was speaking to last night 21 Nov did his best (and went the extra mile) to get my 'suspended' website back on the air and he would have been successful except their machinery would not accept hat a Maestro Card is 18 digits long..
Its not a bad service and I think that they do their best to please the customer. They seem to be quite young which is not always a good thing in customer relations... well recommend ukhost4u.com.

I cancelled my account so they renewed my account and charged me, they performed another transaction on my account that I was not happy with, the bank have now changed my account details and I will be investigating the situation with Ukhost4u. Server performance was poor I feel, therefore I do not recommend this web hosting company.

I do not recommend UK Host 4 U.com. My credit card was lost and therefore I had to cancel it. As a result my payment to ukhost4u did not go out as scheduled.

I am not aware of them contacting me when they suspended my account, Surely the worst example of customer service I have so far personally encountered.

1. I had a major issue with a site I was uploading (a full ecommerce site, fully functional, tested offline) completely disappearing as far as I am concerned! The day before the client expected it live! For 2 days UKhost4U told me there was no such site - the only way I could get in touch was by email. Here's my story: I discovered late last year that my website was down. I thought 'not again' and submitted a ticket to complain. The response was 'your account has been terminated' with no explanation. I asked why this was but all I was told was that I had ignored e-mails they had sent me. I think UK Host4u are not very good in my experience, I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. The only reason I signed up with them in the first place was because they were cheap and seemed to provide everything I needed. I raised few support calls and when I did, I would expect a one liner that is less than helpful. To be fair, they are quick to respond with the unhelpful and useless reply.
