Good Points: Everything about this Monitor is AWESOME!
    Highly Recommended

    Bad Points: Nothing.

General comments: This DELL 2405 FPW monitor really has to be seen to be believed!

It has 24 inches of wide screen loveliness, Its native resolution is 1920 x 1200 @ 60 hz, you will need a fairly modern graphics card
    to run that resolution.

    Display quality
The first thing you notice is that the display is very bright, I had to turn it down to 30% on the brightness, Colour is just right, it has a good warm quality about it. They were no problems with the display and none of the complaints that can affect large screens like this.
Eg no dead pixels, no screendoor effect.

    Inputs
This monitor has 5 inputs, DVI-D, VGA (D-Sub), S-Video, Composite and Component
There are 5 numbered LED lights on the front and a button on the bezel that lets you very easily switch from input to input.
You can run a PC on the DVI and also connect a games console like an Xbox to the Component input. If you have the right utility on your xbox and a high quality Component cable you can enable the High Resoltions on your xbox for a truely awesome display.

    OSD
The On Screen Display controls are easy to use and include an option for any resolution so that it fills the screen height wise, but doesnt stretch the image, the effect is if you run a game at a lower res than 1920 x 1200, the display isnt stretched and you get black bars on each side of the screen

    Special Features
This monitor has PIP (Picture in Picture) feature which basically shows a small display from one of the other inputs overlayed in the corner of the screen, in other words watch have 2 displays at once. I havent really used that feature, but its there and works flawlessly.

    Stand
This monitor has the usual hieght adjustable stand with tilt and swivel. So it can be rotated through 90 degrees into Portrait mode.

    Design
Everything about this monitor is designed very well.

    Overall
    Perfect in every way!
